Hi, I'm Ronald Porter, I'm 26 yrs old, I've worked as a direct care staff/caregiver for about 4/5 years, I'm also CPR/AED Certified. I love being a caregiver, I love getting to know and hearing the stories of everyone that I take care of. I also enjoy making their day, I really believe that this is my calling. A little more about me is that I'm trustworthy, dependable, and reliable, with the experience I have, you will have no worries.

Im willing to do anything that is needed to assist the family in caring for their love one.

I am enthusiastic and enjoy working with the elderly. I am a loyal and faithful companion. I was first attracted to caring for the elderly through my grandmother who simply needed someone to understand. I have taken care of my grandmother my mother and many elderly since then. What I enjoy most about caring for the elderly his to give them a reason to smile, laugh and be happy in their own environment and being their own selves. Some of my personal achievements that I am extremely proud of was a dementia patient who no longer enjoyed painting and with my enthusiastic caring she started painting again. Another elderly lady with Alzheimer's who had forgotten that she loved the outdoors and to walk for exercise. We started sitting on her front porch enjoying the birds and butterfly's and walking down the road for exercise. She even challenged me to a race, LOL. Then another was afraid to take the escalator, she was afraid she would fall. With no other way out, I helped her walk right onto it with no trouble. There was a gentleman that had not fed himself in many years, with my encouragement he was eating by himself again with no assistance. These are just a few of the accomplishments with the elderly that I am thankful that I was able to Help with and Witness.

I'm a kind, caring person. Likes taking care of the elderly and disabled. As a home health aide I do for the clients what they can't do for themselves. Will keep all information about my clients confidential. I always treat others like I want to be treated,with respect and dignity.

I have been in the healthcare field for over 4 years . I've always had a giving personality. I love caring for individuals. I mostly enjoy jobs where I could have 1 on 1 interactions with others. Having patience and being compassionate are my two top skills. This is a setting that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations. My communications skills are awesome. Having a positive attitude goes a long way. I am available to work the full hours as needed also cover additional shifts when needed. I look foward to caring for individuals to my best ability.

I'm a compassionate, patient, honest, and energetic caregiver. I became a caregiver in middle school when my father had a massive stroke, which paralyzed his right half of his body. I had to learn proper body mechanics, grooming, learning and sorting medications and assisting with daily living. As I got older I started working with The State of Florida. I really enjoy helping people because one day I'll be in the same situation and would want a compassionate caregiver to take care of me. I also really enjoy making people smile everyday it makes me happy knowing that I make people feel positive when I am around them. I can say the personal achievements that I'm proud of is knowing I was a part of people lives I'm proud that I played a role in someone improvement. There has been times where people that I've assisted have verbalized their appreciation and it made me beam inside because I feel as though we as a human race are supposed to help and encourage one another in our time of need.

Hi. My name is Teresa D. Johnson. I am an EHS, which is an Early HeadStart Teacher. I have worked at a Private Daycare for the last past years teaching students. Although, now this is my second year teaching students at HeadStart School and yes I love it. However , my most loveable experiences skills are working as a Caregiver, Sitter, Private Sitter, Private Duty, and CNA. I have worked over 30 years in Caregiver field. Some have been through Agencies, Homes, in Hospitals as Private Sitters, Sitters, and etc. My mother at the time was my very first patient. I loved it and desired my heart to continue to for-fill my passionate towards others and that's what attracted me to becoming a Caregiver. It blessed me knowing that I could provide the needs to others as I did for my mother ; after her deceased. My heart desires were to treat others in the field of caregivering like my mother's love, which was a personal achievements for me. Finally, I loved most about being a Caregiver is this, if you don't love what you are call to do in this lifetime and you can't show love as the word of God says to do. Truly, that field of work is definitely not for you. As for my personality traits there is a list : you must have compassion and be compassionate , Caring, Loving, Honesty ,Presistence, Commitment, Faithful, and mostly have a Caregiver Heart.
