I am a great caregiver because I genuinely care for people who needs help and want to see them happy and comfortable in those stages and times in their lives. I love what I do and have been in this field for 15years with no complaints. I absolutely love my field of work

I have been in the medical field since 2007. I enjoy this profession due to the fact that I am able to help those who can't or need the help to do their daily activities and it makes me feel good knowing that I am able to give the person and their family that sense of relief knowing they have someone here who cares and genuinely wants to be there and do the best possible care they can to improve the quality of care and life. I've always gone above and beyond for anyone I've worked for and had a resident who was very hard to please go out of her way to write a note and post on the bulletin for all to see thanking me. For staying after my shift to put her to bed bc no one else would do it and I stayed an extra hr and half to do it and didn't complain in fact I kept asking if she was comfortable or needed. Anything else and she couldn't believe how sweet I was and even requested that if I was on shift I'd be her care giver.

Because I like what I'm doing I like to help others I'm always on time I have compassion for others I taking my client with loves respect I enjoy taking care of those I fill like I'm taking care my own mothers fathers or grand parents I'm proud of my self because people also tell me you very good you doing a great job

In essence, it’s about making small changes to your everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment – and the care and love that shapes it - provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed. And there’s simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. I'm a single mother of two girls so taking care of ,an helping others come natural to me.
