I became a care giver after my husband became ill with cancer. The treatment he got in the hospital and hospice makes me sick to my stomach. Especially the way some nurses spoke to him. I then decided to become a CNA so I can help him and the other patients who really need proper care. To treat every one of my patients the way I would like to be treated if and when I get sick. Other words treat them the way I want to be treated. My personal achievement that I'm proud off is right after giving my client his bath on 10/28/14, he hold my hand and told me thank you for everything, and I love you then took his last breath. That told me for the five years I was taking care of him I was doing a good job. My name Jenette, I've been a CNA for 19 years. Worked at Lincoln Hospital in NY as a PCT for 5 years. Moved from NY to Atlanta GA where I've worked as a CNA or Home Health Aid for 12 years. I love my job very much. Taking care of the sick is what I do, and I do it to the best of my knowledge.

I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I love being able to help others. I really enjoy being a caretaker and it's more then just a job to me it a passion. I make sure to take care of others how I would want to be treated. It brings joy to me to be able to help others in their time of need and know that when I leave I did everything in my power to make my client feel comfortable and happy.

What makes me a good caregiver is I'm compassionate and honest and trustworthy the reason I became a caregiver is because I love caring and helping those in need and I like being a caregiver because I get to meet new people in this field and get to help them I am proud of my self because I achieved a goal that I always dreamed of which is being in the health field and my specialty in this field is geriatrics and also love caring for dementia and Alzheimer's patients

I am 37 years old female I love people I currently lost my Husband so Hod is calling me to be available to help others that can't do as much also I currently work in Athens Ga I work at a cleaners have enjoyed it have wonderful people I work for but I'm am moving toward needing different schedule I have 2 lovely children also I volunteer at the Clark county public library which I love I enjoy riding horses and reading . My love for helping other people is what makes me a great caregiver. I started taking interest in doing this kind of work because my father was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer 3 years ago and I had to help take care of him because I refused to let anyone else do for when I could be doing it. I later started helping out with my 92 year old aunt and uncle who suffered from onset Alzheimer's and it made me fall in love with the idea of helping others even more. My greatest accomplishment is when I got to see all my hard work from helping other people be able to live longer healthier lives all because I took the time to show them that I really care and love what I do. It means the most when you make your patients feel as if their part of your family and that you genuinely care for them
