I became a caregiver because my grandmother had cancer and I wanted to learn how to take care of her, she was a survivor for 40 year, I admired how the nurses and the patient care techs took care of her. So I wanted to give back. The best thing I love about this job is seeing the transformation of ones being. It brings joy to my heart to see someone smile and laugh. I have a private duty case now and the daughter said her mother is so happy now and enjoy when I come a take care of her that is a personal achievement especially when you are taking care of someones mother. My name is Lisa Council I am 49 years old but I look every bit of 29, I am outgoing and love to have fun with my residents, they are such a joy. I have no children, but I am married. I am also a licensed cosmetologist and medical assistance, so I do spoil my residents. I pamper them male and female.I have been to college haven't received my degree yet but I am working on it. I presently work at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on the Orthopedic floor.I reside in Palmetto Ga. I am looking for that one on one care instead of 18 patients as a load, It pays well but I am not getting the satisfaction of what my purpose is for doing direct patient care. That is why I choose to do Private Duty.

I'm a 42 yo female new to the Georgia area. I've been in healthcare for 20 years. Ranging from nursing facility skilled intermediate, and memory care to home health. Offering a wide range of diagnosis I've worked with. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others and the rewards in being able to make a difference in someone's day.

I am a caring and compassionate nurse aide, very friendly and out going . I am cpr certified and have had a my tb shot. I've worked in several nursing homes, memory care units to total dependent patients. Alongside of being a Home Heath cna. I'm a certified nursing Assistant and have been for 3 years now I comepleted a 6 month course. I'm a quick learner and very easy to adapt to new changes. I'm very understanding and patient. In my 3 years of being a cna I have gained a lot of experience.

I have just recently quit my job to help care for my dad after open heart surgery in March. But he has recovered and I'm looking to help others. I took care of my grandmother at home in 2014 until she passed and that's where my heart is. Very reliable and flexible. Love to sing, do crafts, read, be outside.

I'm 22 years old, and I've always been so passionate about helping and caring for the elderly! I've been a CNA for almost 5 years and working in nursing homes, home health, and hospitals has always made my heart so happy!

I became a caregiver in 2001, when my job begin to down size at a bank as a data entry operator. I went back to school and received my CNA certification. I stated my first job in a nursing facility in 2001. I began to care for the sick and elderly and grew attached to them. I could talk to them and share my stores as well as they would share there stories. I fell in love with them and now I enjoy caring for them and hopefully one day become a RN.

I enjoy taking care of people so that they can live better, happier lives.

I have a very positive and happy outlook on life and with my interactions with people, in general. I am a very kind, diligent, and caring individual. I am always certain to tailor my care to each individual person. I always go above and beyond with all tasks to ensure quality care, safety, customer service, physical and emotional needs are being met. I do for my clients as I would do for my own family. I love talking with and interacting with the elderly, as they have so much life experience and valuable lessons to teach. I realized some years back, when I had my first clinical rotation as a Certified Nurse's Aide, that this is my true calling in life and I enjoy sharing that with others. I look forward to serving you and spending time with your loved ones.

I decided to become a cna after taking care of my grandmother. She got really sick and from my heart I decided that this was something I would be interested in. I love being the one to help others make a difference in their lives. I feel like such a blessing from god!

I love helping and caring for people. I truly believe that this is a calling for me. I have been in the healthcare field for 6 years and I have enjoyed every single moment of it. An achievement that I am proud of would be helping my patients to feel better or at least help them feel comfortable everyday. I am very ambitious, loving, and a very hardworking person. I know I can do anything that I put my mind to and I know I will get very far with the mind frame that I have.
