I went into healthcare right out of high school and have been in the field since. I love providing care for all ages. Its my passion. I'm currently in school to continue my education in nursing. I volunteer at my local animal control. I am very passionate about animal care and protecting them from abuse. I current foster animals to get them ready for their furever home.

I deliver direct personal care supporting the families of an elderly individuals. Responsible for a plethora of duties ranging from scheduling appointments for medical care, ensuring attendance to extra-curricular activities, and aiding in the completion of household errands and maintenance of both properties.I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I can have one-on-one interaction with others putting a smile on there face knowing I have achieve a goal of happiness, love, and trustworthy. Care giving has been my passion since I helped care for my father who suffered with congestive heart failure & diabetes. The last senior I cared for told me that I was one of the kindest people he had ever met. The elderly has a wealth of knowledge that they love to share about life and their experiences. I enjoy their appreciation for being their caregiver and they seem so grateful. I treat them the same way I would like to be treated and the way I would like my family members to be treated if needed care. As one of the noblest professions, a caregiver has much to offer in terms of compassion and care.

I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because my grandmother was having a hard time when she became up to age and she needed some type of assistance. Why did I become a caregiver you ask. Growing up I always was around the older women in my family. I loved listening to all the old stories. When my grandma got sick I watched how her CNA will just come in and do her anyway. It break my heart. As I got older the love got stronger for elderly. The best part of being a caregiver is knowing that your able to help someone when they need you the most. I'm a young woman with a bright future ahead of me. Love taking care of people my whole life, I always was a people person,I was told by my peers that I have a gift and that this is my calling, this is my passion, I'm proud that I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of with different cultures and experience with different kinds of patients at providence hospital for 20 years it was a wonderful experience for me and a great place to work.

I became a care giver after my husband became ill with cancer. The treatment he got in the hospital and hospice makes me sick to my stomach. Especially the way some nurses spoke to him. I then decided to become a CNA so I can help him and the other patients who really need proper care. To treat every one of my patients the way I would like to be treated if and when I get sick. Other words treat them the way I want to be treated. My personal achievement that I'm proud off is right after giving my client his bath on 10/28/14, he hold my hand and told me thank you for everything, and I love you then took his last breath. That told me for the five years I was taking care of him I was doing a good job. My name Jenette, I've been a CNA for 19 years. Worked at Lincoln Hospital in NY as a PCT for 5 years.
