Nursing is a calling, God placed it in my heart.I nurse as if I'm doing it unto the Lord I absolutely LOVE what I do & I'm so blessed through it.I've been voted the best nurse at my facility by my patients.I learn my patients, their individual needs, specific likes/dislikes and personality. I've been a nurse sine 2002 I am & will always be my patient's advocate.Insisting & ensuring they get the highest quality care.I'm very skilled, kind, patient, compassionate, giving & caring. My desire is to touch lives & improve the quality of life for those needing nursing care.I graduated nursing school with a 4.0, finished all but 7 months of RN school & then life happened & financially wasn't able to finish. Now unfortunately many of my classes have expired, but I'm ok with that lvn/rn just long as I'm nursing. I'm a 34yo mother to the BEST 16yo in the WORLD & very happily married woman.I'm originally from GA & I've got the southern drawl to prove it.I love animals of all kinds & believe they're a gift from God. I'm saved by grace through faith (thank you Jesus), I'm spiritual not religious. I'd never push my beliefs on you. What makes me a great caregiver is that I listen and watch my clients. I may close attention to small details because at times that's all that matters. What attracted me to become a caregiver is the way I was raised to care for people who are in need and may not have anyone else. I was taught to treat and show respect to all kinds of humanity regardless of the way the look,talk,and dressed. The most thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is making sure that my person needs are met to my best abilities. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is me giving back when I can.

The one thing that attracted me to be a caregiver would be having the heart to care for others and their needs and taking on the responsibility that comes on being a good caregiver to the ones I'm caring for . I love providing quality care, attention, love, and affection to individuals in my care! Caring for my grandmother as a youth and knowing everyone doesn't have the same privilege as I did. Making my client feel that someone cares and has time to spend with them. Making it through a final transition phase with a client even though it's the hardest thing to do!

I recently was taking care of my grandmother who was independent living on her at the age of 94. I would always take her grocery shopping, doctor appointments and out for lunch for 2 yrs every week. She recently passed away and now I have the feeling of being there for other's who needs a great companion, to whom they can talk to as long as they need and someone who can care for them. The main thing I enjoy about being caregiver, are the conversations that I have with my patients. We talk about my life and there's, and what all has changed in such a short period of time. The personal achievement I'm proud of is getting into the medical assistant program after attempting 3 tries with my one core class that was holding me back.

I am 35 years of age. I became a caregiver because when I was younger my grandmother became very sick and her kids & my family out her in a nursing home. I don't think anyone should have to go into a nursing home if they have family so I wanted to be able to help people to keep their loved ones at home. I'm a great caregiver because I look at all of my clients as my family. I love being a caregiver because I get to meet new people and I make sure they know that they have someone. It's not the end of the road....regardless. I love being a caregiver but I really love being a great mother. I have 4 boys and I really love my kids and they are the reasons why I do the best I can do with everything that I do

I have work in many nursing homes as volunteers and as an actual CNA jobs. I love taking care of people because I've always takin care of my grandma before she passed away and that showed me that helping people is what I'm best at. I enjoy just overall helping people and making them feel better mentally and physically.
