I am a happy mother of two adult children and grandmother of eight wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time and doting on them. Most of my work time has been in a hospital setting. I love being part of a caring team and love helping people with all types of needs. I love the healthcare field specifically because of the vast variety help needed. When it comes to caregiving for another person, you have to be open minded and patient. Being able to learn and adapt to their environment and how they live. To have good strength in order to help guide or transfer clients to different rooms or vehicles. Have the ability to keep up with the house keeping duties, meals, errands,appoitments. I am a wife and mother to three children. My oldest son is a missionary in Australia and Papua New Guinea. My middle son has high functioning Autism and has required a lot of dedication and care for his 17 years. He has taught me so much about life and helped me to have incredible patience. My daughter is a competitive gymnast and we've dealt a lot with training injuries and healthy eating to keep her body strong. I've been a caregiver for as long as I could remember & took care of my younger siblings. As I grew up, I helped take care of my ailing grandparents. After they passed, I took care of a fabulous woman who had MS and Lupus. I started school to become a nurse but didn't finish because I started having children and wanted to care for them. As they have gotten older, my passion for health care has resurfaced and I'm looking to finally finish nursing school. I am very compassionate, trustworthy, hard working & loyal. I have helped others who have become like family, in very difficult situations such as hospice care and extreme hoarding situations. I am very non judgmental and kind. Often times people have mentioned they are embarrassed at first (by either the state of their home, being unable to care for themselves properly due to health issues, etc), But I have always helped ease their anxieties and embarrassment by just being kind, loving, and patient. I am very professional, but try to help make clients smile or laugh and help make difficult situations a little bit easier. I care about everyone and everything. I have worked with many families to help care for their loved ones and make difficult times, a little less stressful.

I have had so many clients and the bond I have had with them. i am 62 and I have 2 grand kids. and work with alot of hosipice cleints in their home and the in nursing center been sitter and exp with severe cases of alz and cancer. i was on a job for 5 years last and now expiring

1. I saw the incredible love shown to my Grandmother by caregivers when I was young, and was very thankful. 2. I like working with one or two people at a time instead of 12- 15 in a nursing home situation. 3.An ongoing situation I am proud of is the smiles I see on my peoples face when I arrive. They trust me and know I will take care of them. 4. I was a Med. Tech. in the Air Force and then became a C.N.A. Have had my certificate for 4 1/2 years now. 3 years were spent in a nursing home, This last year has been taking care of two separate ladies in their homes.
