I am 33 years old. Been a CNA since I was 16 years old. I am also a Home Health Aide and I have a Associates Degree in Human Services. I'm experience in every type of care you can think of. I have worked in every type of building from nursing home to retirement to assisted etc. Fast learner Great at what I do Hands on Very dependable

I'm a single mother of 2 teenagers. I have 10 years experience in home health work and medical assisting.

During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

Over the Past 10 years I have had the incredible opportunity to care for families and their loved ones. Starting my career in Alzheimer/ memory care and Hospice, as well working with aging population with disabilities , cognitive impairments & chronic illness such as CHF. I've always known from day one that caring for people and their families was and always will be my passion and calling in life. I have been fortunate enough to expand my education from nursing to EMS, as well as becoming a certified AHA BLS CPR instructor . I have extensive experience with medication management, Vital's and chronic illness management- as well as feeding, lifts, bathing and all daily life care! I am looking to continue to share my passion, experience and dynamic skills in healthcare with a family and loved one in need! Experienced, compassionate, caring and detail oriented caregiver with over 30 years in the medical field. Caring for seniors is where my heart is. I left my career as a hearing specialist to care for my parents before they passed. I have specialized and extensive care with Alzheimer's/Dementia , Parkinson's, Cancer, and diabetic patients. My duties included cognitive and physical stimulation, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medicine management, companionship, assist with feeding, dressing, showering and toileting, running errands, transportation to appointments, all housework, laundry, and other nursing duties. I enjoy taking my clients on day trips to museums, picnic in the park, long walks, going to church or out to eat, or staying in watching tv or doing crafts and puzzles. I treat every client like family, as it's a privilege to care for your loved one. I'm very comfortable with all pets. CPR/First Aide trained, experienced with Hoyer Lift and G-Tube feeding.
