I have been an EMT for 4 years, I am hard working and have a love for helping people. I feel that everyone needs a helping hand sometimes, some more than others. I would like to be a caregiver so I am able to help someone who needs it. I like to be able to spend time with the same patients to be able to build that bond and the trust needed to truly get the best experience out of having a caregiver. Being able to be the person someone leans on is a great feeling and having the same caregiver everyday for some people is a relief especially to someone who has not needed a caregiver until recently. It can be stressful to someone who is used to being able to care for themselves and who now is in need of additional help as well as it can be stressful for their family. I like to be able to give piece of mind to patients and their families knowing they don't need to worry about something happening to their loved one while they continue with their busy schedules working and caring for their families as well

Being a caregiver is not a easy job. As a certified Nursing Assistant, I always keep in mind, I am helping someone who used to be independent now have to rely on someone else. Let me tell you to this job, you have to a call in to do so. It likes God call in someone to a minister. This job requires love and caring, as well as respect for the elders and I also love what I am doing.

I have been a nurse for over 27 years, too old to work the floor and too young to sit at home. Have a passion for the care of the elderly. My mother passed at the age of 86 and I'm aware of how hard it can be to balance care with your own life. Everyone deserves quality care and if you can receive it at home.... all the better

I like the one on one care with the residents, and I like helping them with their day to day living, I love listening to their stories about life looking at old pictures making them laugh and I enjoy the work, I got started doing this because of my mom she had gotten sick and I loved being there thru the last years of her life. I truly enjoy my one on one care with the residents they deserve to be loved and cared for also I try to put myself in their position and treat them like I would like to be treated If couldn't do for myself like I did before just by helping assist them in their daily life of living.

Hello I have 20 + years . I lost my cna when I got pregnant was unable to work. But when I was able work as a caregiver with homehealth. I really enjoy my work I do and hearing stories from my clients. Also enjoy talking with families to make the whole situation easier for them. I'm proud of myself for doing the work I do, I take it seriously and try to make daily tasks easier on everyone.
