My name is Deanna I am 34 years of age with no children. What attracted the most to look into this field and to sign me up for CNA school was for my grandparents that I was very close to and who raised me so I did it for them! Because unfortunately, my grandmother was in a nursing home and she was very neglected to the point. Some thing happened to her and she passed away so she gave me my motivation to be where I'm at today. I'm a very compassionate person very honest the most outright patience I have for people is incredible always in a positive mood And I've always wanted to take care of others who don't have others to take care of them. That's why I became a CNA and a caregiver because I give my 100%. I'm a very thorough worker. I'm very organized I have a routine and I get along with everybody, but if I have a tough client who is behavioral that intrigues me more to stay in the field that I am in only because I know how to approach those clients in the correct manner. My personal traits are attachment to the people I care for because not only do I care for them but at the end of the day, somehow they turn family to me in my eyes. I'm a very experienced worker. I've been doing this for six years. I have dealt with all different kinds of patients, so no need to worry. And I'm also very knowledgeable to medical terminologies. I'm a safe, reliable, trustworthy person and I'm very compassionate at what I do and because I love what I do.

My name is portia chambers, i am a certified nursing assistant for over fifteen years. Working in home one & one , in nursing homes, assisted living & hospital. I truly belived am making a positive Def became a caregiver because of my passion to assist and help others. I took care of my grandparents. that's what made me realize I am a natural at it. I feel like its important to be kind to everyone, especialy to the elderly.because they are vulnerable , kindness costs nothing. I am truly blessed earning a living doing what I love. My family is my most treasured asset in my life. I think so is for everyone elses.The people i ment over the years in my career as enrich my life with so much. Each day i strive to be a better and a greater caregiver for future clients.

 I consider my self a great care giver. I'm professional respectful, good communication skills I follow the rules . I'm mindful of confidentiality requirements and different cultures and traditions. And i respect the wishes of the patient.

I have known since I was a child that i wanted to work in a job where I could truly help others and that I want to enter the health care industry in some way . I decided to become a caregiver because I would like to help others who don't have the ability to help themselves. Being a caregiver for almost 3 years now, these last 2 years have really helped me in so many ways. i have worked in Nursing Home, Private Duty and Housing. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care. Getting my High School Diploma despite I was going through a really hard time, I had to drop off school because I had to work to help my family get a place to live so I had to do all my High School works at home , that also gave me the opportunity to go to Nursing Assistant Training Program . At the end of all these I gained a High School Diploma and a Nursing Assistant Certificate. I get along with others very well. This has made me a team player at all jobs I have had.

Because I like to be withh ealderlly person, is a pleasure for me to serve theme. To learn how my future gonna be. Always be honest. I am not a complicated person, and I always want to be honest.

To help people that need help with their daily needs.i love my job ..meet new people..listen to their stories..i find it quite rewarding...i have been able to take care of myself..i also have working for an agency for the past 22 years but work is becoming slow n looking for parttime

I have a lot of patience, and I love and enjoy taking care of those who can't take care of themselves. I became a caregiver, because there are a lot of people who are unable to take care of themselves, and some of them need special care. The fact that I am giving care, it gives me a inner peace. It makes me feel like I am completing a mission, that, I am here to do. I am very proud to be a caregiver, and I will always be willing to do my best to help those who can't help themselves.

its good a field, for the career am pursuing. caregiving helps people meet and make new friends. it also bonds people together in love, care and peace. my first born, because I had given up on kids but God finally blessed me with a daughter . am a Christian, interested in making friends am also hardworking , I like swimming , listening and telling stories. I like soccer ,playing chess.

I pride myself in being a compassionate, knowledgeable, and exceptional caregiver with over 10 years experience. I have been in employed in various settings including, but not limited to: mental health, dementia, and addiction settings. I describe myself as driven, personable, and empathetic to others and those I work with. I chose to become a caregiver because I have always identified as someone who likes to give back and help others. I find it rewarding to help the more vulnerable populations of people who rely on others. Not only do I value the care that is required for the client, but I also believe it is important to establish a trusting relationship to meet the clients psych-social needs as well.

I became a Caregiver after I took care of my loved ones. The most important thing in care giving is being part of a team that works around the clock to improve other people's lives. That way you become like family and create a network of friends. I am a proud Caregiver because I have been able to sustain myself and take care of my family. I am doing this work but my ultimate goal is to become an RN. After wards , I plan to do a BSN and will major in geriatrics.
