1-Reason I became a caregiver, love providing home care giving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2-I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh so achieving a smile on their face. 3- I am a single parent and also raised 2 children with medical needs, I learn to balance out work and home to achieve the best work possible in all areas.

I have been taking care of people for over 20 years .I have CNA MAP CPR /First Aide, I have also done lot of courses and training regarding my work included is Alzheimer's, people with learning disabilities fall prevention and many more. Ever since freshman year in high school, I have always wanted to do something that related to the medical field. First it was orthopedics and then pharmacy. I did not know that my mind would change to care giver until my junior year. I took a health science technology class starting my junior year. It was a two year class. Junior year was more focused on anatomy and physiology and Senior year we got to decide which path we wanted to go down. I chose the LNA path. I have always wanted to help people and going towards this path seemed like a sure-fire way to get there. I loved doing my clinicals at the two nursing homes near my school. It was an amazing experience. Knowing that I can help someone get through their day a little easier meant the world to me. Almost six years after graduating high school, I am still doing what I love and taking care of the people that need it the most.

I once lived near an elderly housing complex and saw the need of elderly who who were badly in need of help and could not afford. I began volunteering and never stop. I love helping people. I am very proud that was able to save the life of an elderly who was not aware that she had developed early stage cancer. I took her to MGH and the cancer institute for testing. She was quickly diagnosed and began treatment on that very day. She is still in remission as we speak. I am a reliable, dedicated, compassionate, loving, hard working, and a very caring individual and I love helping people. Ian reliable, get along well with both coworkers and patients and I also have excellent communication skills. I have been in the health care business for many years.
