I am a dedicated and serious trustworthy passionate caregiver. I have experience in Hoyer lifts, transferring and mobility. I am more than happy to help with housekeeping and companionship . Assistance with walking, exercises , bathing dressing and grooming.

Fast forward to 1990, I knew I wanted to be of help and I made it to CNA school to get Certified! I started w/ Nursing/ Rehab in California and finally moved back to Hawaii to be closer to family. There I started helping out w/ taking care of Family and eventually started working for Agencies. One thing I know w/ having to work both Facilities & Homes, it's both rewarding. Difference is Time & Quality of Care! Facility definitely needing to manage Time/ Quality for each patients. Home Care is best for Patient. I started working in a assisted living/ independent living facility and found out I loved it. I did all the meds for the residents and would give insulin to the residents who needed it. Then I started doing homecare when we moved back down here. I was home health aide of the year 2018 when I worked with wellsbrooke out of Plymouth. I had a client for 2 years until he passed away.

It brings me joy and add fulfillment to my heart knowing that i'm able to help others who are unable to help themselves, this is one of the many reasons i became a caregiver. What i like most about being a caregiver is knowing that i am making a difference in someone's life everyday, Which adds gratifying times to my life. I am very proud of my strong background and knowledge in the medical field, I am a patient care specialist providing essential needs of residents. Some of my achievements are advance medical terminology, phlebotomy and lab specimen collection, EKG techniques, CPR certified and Introduction to ICD-9-CM coding.
