At 18 years old I lost my mother to type one diabetes as well as my grandmother due to heart failure. I promise to make them proud and continue gods work to help many other families. I work two jobs and take care of my 80 year old Grandfather who is also in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. I currently work at a nursing home have been there for going on 5 months and I work with all types of residents from Dementia residents to Alzhemiers to residents that don't have any diagnosis. I love working with my residents and finding out new things about them every day. I change the breifs, shower them and even sometimes when the refuse I try to take them in the bathroom and at least wipe them down to prevent infections. I always where gloves to protect me and my loved ones. I cherish my residents as if they were my family and love them as so.
