I am a very positive, patient person who loves helping others. I'm proud of the fact that I have people who have consistently requested me to care for them. I'm passionate about high quality care, as I delivered to my parents before their passing.

I am attracted to being a caregiver because my family is in the medical field. I am loving the job because I like helping and caring the people. I love being around the people.

I've been educated, consistently trained, & certified in the home & healthcare field since 2004. I've had schooling as a medical assistant, pharmacy technician, ACP caregiver & a level 1 medication aid, etc. I've worked in other job fields but realized my passion is to serve & take care of other. I believe I was directed into this profession because I watched my mother & grandmother take care of a lot of people so it's kind of apart of my DNA. I enjoy this work because I believe this is my gift & I love to make people feel good about life through the ups & downs we face daily. One personal achievement that I'm proud of is starting my own business to take care of people in need.

I think the traits that make me a good candidate for caregiver are that I am empathetic to the client's situation, understanding that I am their to assist the client' in achieving their goals, and I'm an active listener and truly try to get a view of the entire situation going on. I have worked with many different populations with stronger emphases in mental health, developmental disabilities, and addiction and recovery. I have worked with clientele as young as 18 and as old as 90, so I am rather comfortable working with any age group.

I was raised with my morther an grandparents so it all came very naturally. From dealing with my grandmom epilepsy are my Papa Parkison in dementia I learned very quick what to do and what not at very young age. My motto is you treat others the way you won't to be treated. My name is Shawndell Rideau I've been in the medical field for about 15 years. I'm experienced in skilled nursing, homecare, special disabilities, hospice care, rehab, etc . I love what I do being able to care for other is passion and blessing to put a smile on their face. Since I was a little girl going to the nursing home with my school choir singing and dancing for the residents always made them happy . At 19 I went and got my C.N.A license and went from there pursing my passion . I went to school a couple years back and got my Medical Assistant Certification which im proud of and want to go back for my R.N.

I am a 36-year-old woman with two years of healthcare experience who resides in the south suburbs of Kansas City. From a young age, I have possessed immense compassion, boundless energy, and an exuberant personality, all of which have enabled me to provide exceptional care that meets the highest standards. Additionally, I possess a keen sense of humor and the creative prowess to conquer any challenge that comes my way. What initially drew me to this role was the profound realization that I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world. The aspect of this job that brings me the greatest joy is witnessing the radiant smiles on people's faces, mainly when I am working with children and brightening their day. One of my proudest personal achievements has been obtaining my nurse aide certification, having dedicated an entire semester to this endeavor. Well I've been in the medical field for over 15 plus years. I have worked in nursing homes , hospitals , group homes is l also taking care of a family member. I love being able to help people with the ADLs activities of daily living, you have to have the patience in the heart for this type of job and I do that's why I believe I am a great candidate because I try to treat people the way I wanted to be treated if I needed the help or any of my family members needed it.
