I think the traits that make me a good candidate for caregiver are that I am empathetic to the client's situation, understanding that I am their to assist the client' in achieving their goals, and I'm an active listener and truly try to get a view of the entire situation going on. I have worked with many different populations with stronger emphases in mental health, developmental disabilities, and addiction and recovery. I have worked with clientele as young as 18 and as old as 90, so I am rather comfortable working with any age group.

Well I've been in the medical field for over 15 plus years. I have worked in nursing homes , hospitals , group homes is l also taking care of a family member. I love being able to help people with the ADLs activities of daily living, you have to have the patience in the heart for this type of job and I do that's why I believe I am a great candidate because I try to treat people the way I wanted to be treated if I needed the help or any of my family members needed it.

Hello I am 52 years young, I have over 15 years in the healthcare field. As a teenager I volunteered at my local Hospital as a Candy striper where I assisted in admitting patients and transporting and other duties. I enjoy helping clients and families maintain a happy and healthy life style. while able to stay at home. I have worked with a variety of ages from 6 to 90 years of age . Seeing the look of pride and accomplishment in a person's eyes when setting and accomplishing a goal is very rewarding.

I have taken care of my grandfather FOR about 3 years prior to his passing. I am a very kind and caring individual. I am very overprotective when it comes to elderly. I don't like it when the much younger generation try to take advantage of them. I am very sympathetic to their pain weather ot emotional and or physical. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 5 years. Which alluowed me to experience taking care of the elderly in and out of facilities. The one thing that I enjoy most about taking care and helping them is learning from them and bonding with them. All that they ask is to be treated with respect and for someone to simply listen. When they dp something on their on time am amazed and always praising them for a job well done. I let them know throughout the day of how very proud of them I am. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being able to move to a new state and city and start fresh at a new life.
