I have a calling & passion for serving those in need; especially the elderly population. My ongoing mission is to help them with continuum of life care their way, not mine. I'm committed to advocating and promoting their wants and needs on an individual basis. I've been a caregiver; predominantly in the private in home sector for 33 years. I look forward to serving many more years. I am thoroughly committed to providing & maintaing a safe and stress free environment for each aging client I purposefully love to be with and care for.

I became a caregiver because I was able to take care of my sick mother home for 4 years until it turned into Hospice care at my home. I am trustworthy with training, education, and guidance with caring for families , so they will receive emotional support and are comfortable in their environment. My compassion for patients allows me to have understanding and be attentive to their needs. I will follow set rules be punctual, and show good time - management. Quality of care and safety for patients are very important to me.

I am very hardworking, dedicated, caring person. The safety and well being of my patient comes first. I have 20+ years experience and will provide excellent references upon request. My patients are like family to me and I care for them as I would for my loved ones. I go above and beyond the call of duty to provide the care that is required for my patients happy, safe, and home.

Hey im jvania I love to help elders it hurts me to see an elder not treated properly and taken care of properly. I'm a gentle quiet person I love doing things others aren't able to the less for elders the merry the why of caregiving to me is seeing the smile on a seniors face and cooping with them to get where they'd love to be one thing I'm very proud of is the patients I have with others I met a lady who couldnt walk I pushed her and motivated her and helped as much as I was allowed to and a few weeks later she didnt need a walker she could go home

I decided I wanted to become a caregiver when I accepted the job of caring for my elderly grandmother. I enjoy helping and assisting those who are in need of assistance in their daily routines. Going to school and receiving my CNA certificate. My passion is helping people.

Hello my name is Ihilani ( E-He-La-knee) I started my caregiving career with my grandmother at the age of 10 when I went to live with her, after her hip surgery. That is when I knew that being with people during their most vulnerable time was a ministry and not just a job. I believe that no matter what age or stage in your life we can all need help and more important a sense of protection during these times. Mind Body and Soul all need to be nurtured when we are going through health issues. and it brings me great joy to know that I able to help others when they are experiencing medical, mental or soul pain or just a helping hand making sure that the quality of life that a person lives is safe and secure no matter what stage of life they are in. While working with a nursing home... My new patient, would not let me touch him. I couldn't take vitals, bathing was out of the question, he was just mad at the world and I understood. I noticed my new patient had extreme dry mouth and was very dehydrated. I asked, "What is your favorite drink?" He replied,I love orange juice and I have not had any in 4 years. "What???" I look at my new patient and said I will be right back. I returned to the room in about 5minutes and my patient says well this is a first. I asked What is a first? He replies back "That you came back" I look at him and smiled, Sir you do not scare me with a giggle and I have something for you I believe you will love.He looks at me, smirks what could you possibly have for me? walking towards him holding a half gallon jug of orange juice with a straw saying " Your favorite drink Sir." My new patient looks at me saying, I will let you take care of me. Remembering this story makes me tear up. We had a great friendship that only lasted for 6months before he passed, but we laughed, he taught me things and encouraged me in my life's journey and while I only had 6 months with him, when I think of why I love what I do I think about him

I'm a great caregiver because iam patient n kind n dedicated to my job n my clients.I always give more then most. I love being a caregiver when I cared for my 94 year old nana n I would want the best care for her. n I'll do the same as if my clients where my nana.i enjoy being around elders they always have wonderful storys to tell n I take note of it n know want they want. from what they been though n their lifes.......n I would want to achieve to be not just a caregiver but as a friend and to make sure that you n client are happy with me n to have a PEACE OF MIND! NO WORRIES....
