I have 15 years of experience working with different medical diagnoses and age groups in private home, rehab, and nursing home setting. Providing personal care, companionship, and homemaker services. My biggest passion is caring and helping people in need. It is a very fulfilling and important part of my life. When I'm not working, I spend my leisure time kayaking, walking/hiking, reading, being creative and taking care of myself and my home. I'm blessed with strength and good health, patience and understanding, and I believe this is why former caretaking clients always asked for me. I look forward to meeting you!

I consider myself to be a great caregiver/nurse because I am kind, loving and very reliable. I also love this type of work because I find it to be very rewarding, I became a licensed practical nurse in 2017, I love caring for people.

My story.. When I was 14 years old my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. She declined very fast and my grandfather (already being 76 years old) couldn't care for her on his own. So my twin brother and I moved in full time with my grandparents and helped care for her at a very young age. Soon after she passed my grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and my family was ready to find a LTC facility (Long Term Care facility) where they could care for him. My brother and I absolutely refused the idea of him being moved out of his home he worked so hard for, so we then continued to take care of him until last year. My whole life has been dedicated to caring for other individuals. Not only do I hold myself to the highest standards of care, but I love doing what I do and show compassion at an all time high, because I put myself in other individuals shoes. This job/career will be my career for a lifetime and I am an extremely family orientated person.

I've been a caregiver since I was 18 years old. I took care of people with special needs. I started nursing school when I was 20 years old. I graduated when I was 24 years old. I was a nurse for 15 years and then my grandmother got sick and I became her caregiver. I believe a caregiver is there to do anything for the person that they care for. Anything to put a smile on their face. I've taken care of babies with trachs. I've taken care of seniors with dementia. And I've also learned that you take care of the person and the family.

I started by caring for my mom. she had a stroke and cancer. so i went to LNA school to care for her. I also had to move her from her home so i can care for her and my three kids. I like the smile on there face when they see me that alone make me feel like just showung up made there day.my personal gitf is taking care of my mom she have 12 kids out off nine me and one of my brothers took care of her for five years. that i am very proud of.I am a very heart felt person in my family.I help keep the family together by having alot of family get togethers.thats my job. in a family of 12

I have always been a caregiver, established with a lifetime of nursing experience. I have been a geriatric nurse until I retired in 2003 and since then I have had several home care positions which I especially enjoyed doing. I like the accomplishment of making a persons life better because of what I have been able to do for them. I am an artist, poet (member of the Poetry Society of NH) read often with other poets, do crafts and work a loom. life is never dull. This time of the year I work my gardens and enjoy kayaking and fishing. Life is good.
