Once I realized that this the profession that I wanted to dedicate myself to I became dedicated to improving the quality of life to as many people in need of my services that I could reach out to...my ability to touch those in need and seeing the transformation from who they were when I began to work with them til when my services are no longer needed and their in a good place in life is my reward just to be able to work for them is my pleasure and I enjoy going to work expecting the unexpected it makes me a better woman, mother,daughter, and friend and to be grateful for what I was given

What makes me a great care giver is, I treat people how I want to be treated.i also became a certified nurse aide (C.N.A) when taken care of my father at the age of 19 when he became Diagnosed with lung cancer. Right after he passed away. I went to CNA school in the year of 2001 Graduated received my certification. I have my CPR certification as well.I been employed at my job for 16 years as of this comein March 10,2019 it will be 17 years that I have been Employed at Deermeadows. And what makes me so different and rare , is most people work just to get a pay check, but when you careing for a human life ITS A MUST that you have a heart A compassionate heart at that.I also work on a Dementia/Alzheimer's unit as well at deermeadows. However I got promoted around 2010 to a (R.N.A) Restorative nursing aide Position.iam also skilled with hoyer lifts and Sara lifts,as well currently working mon-Friday 6am-2pm off every weekend.but will work on call,on holidays ,and Emergencies.

I am unique I have experience and I am compassionate for elders that are in need. Empathy is something else I bring to the table I am all for the client. When I was a child my grandmother became sick and needed assistance from caregivers they treated her well, furthermore she was an LPN and only wanted the best interest for her patients. I thought it would be great to help elders also have a positive mind set even on a not so good day. Have patience and listen. I must be reliable for my client and the family there is a job that needs to be done and I want them to know they can depend on me. I am trustworthy and honesty is a must. I've watched aides help my grandmother from 1996 to 2004 and they showed me things everyday they came so I would be able to help out myself when they are not there. I started working in home care 2009 after graduating school for medical assisting. I bring great work ethics love and care. Everyone needs someone to depend on and that is me. Thank you
