Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. Hello my name is Tavia and I have been a Caregiver since 1998. I became a CNA because back in High School I went to various nursing homes and hospitals to volunteer to help the elderly and I enjoyed it. I love making a difference and treating people how I want to be treated. What I like most is building relationships and giving my client a great experience. I also worked as a care giver HHa in New jersey with Lares home care. I am licence HHA in both New york and New jersey. I have licence in CNA in new york. I have both experience as HHA and CNA. As HHA i used to be loved by the patients and their families and they always requested for my service from my employer . Curently i worked part time (weekends )as CNA at one of the best nurisng homes in the cities which hire only the best care givers. I love taking care if people and seeing them happy.

I became a caregiver to help those who are in need. Its a wonderful feeling knowing you can help someone achieve their goal. One personal achievement that I am very proud of is, completing a volunteering job for a none profit organization "Feed The Children." Last but not least, if I can tell you anything about myself I would tell you I am a very productive guy. I use the time that I have during my days wisely from work, to working out, to getting things done for the house. I am always ready to face challenges and get along with people very well.
