Hello, my name is Jocelyn and it is a pleasure to virtually meet you! I am a very energetic, kind, and knowledgeable caregiver. I got attracted to being a caregiver upon my Great Grandfather's mental decline. I saw he needed help and knew I wanted to help as many people as I could to ensure they had the best quality of life possible. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is giving back to the community. I am proud to be the only person in my family to get a college degree and move out of the state of Wyoming!

Let me start by writing about what I know. No matter how much excellent medical and/or psychological care and loving support a person may receive, the person who is facing challenges inevitably feels fragile and experiences a crisis of confidence. Total care only begins at the bedside. The whole environment becomes part of the treatment plan, with a goal of encouraging the person remain engaged in the day to day decisions and activities that govern his or her life. The next thing I know is that, regardless of how smart I think I am, that person with challenges has his or her own agenda and will put every effort into achieving those goals. This deserves great respect. This requires negotiation. This requires a sense of humor. This requires open minds. This is what I know. And since every situation is different, there is no cookie cutter big enough to consider all the possibilities for care and support. Every case depends on intelligent decisions, patience, and cooperation. All laced with healthy doses of kindness.

I love to care for people and assist people with there day to day needs . I enjoy helping in general.

I'm bi lingual Spanish speaking enjoy working and providing services our elderly community needs to keep there independence enhancing the quality of there life and give families a pice of mind while there out and there loved ones are home. I've done this type of work for over 20 years .will attend religious services with client .

I start nursing school in September and I am looking for side jobs to help me pay bills I have wanted to be a nurse for a very long time. Nursing is who I am and what I do.

I decided to become a caregiver because growing up my grandmother had early onset Alzheimer's, I watched how her caregivers supported her but our family as well. I started working at an assisted living facility during college and then transitioned into home care. I feel like often times when being a caregiver you are meeting someone at a challenging point in their life. It takes understanding, patience, kindness. I enjoy being part of a team that can make the transition of needing care not only easier on the families but as easy as possible for the person needing care.

I am Elizabeth. I go by Liz and I am a people person! I always have a smile on my face and I believe there is always something that can be done. I am a hard working, honest, brave, on time, loving, talkative girl. I am certified for several things in the Home Health Care feild. I enjoy taking care of others, it makes me feel needed when other people depend on me. A personal achievement I am proud of is... I recently got my very first own apartment in Bath NY!!! It's an exciting transformation becoming an adult and I am looking for some steady hours to get my rent paid! I am avalible everyday of the year during the mornings, days, nights, holidays as well as overnights. I have done it all and have my diploma, CPR, PCA, HCSS, CDA, NAECY, and my ECE certifications. I also have college credits from a three year voactional school i attended and would love to start saving up some money to start online classes.
