I love helping the elderly I've been doing it since I was 16. That is my passion to help someone. I can say that every client or patient loved and liked me a lot. I do a good job go above and beyond. I treat the elderly like that was one of my grandparents.

I'm a 52 year old male, with 5+yrs as an STNA. I've taken care of male, and female clients who all usually asked for me specifically. So i do respectfully apply for jobs that may prefer females. Only because i've VERY successfully cared for both M/F. This type of work is very specific, and requires dilligence 100% of the time. I enjoy this work for many reasons, but the biggest is to provide comfort, safety, and make my clients, your loved ones feel like they have my trust, and i'll earn theirs.That happens out of the utmost respect, kindness, patience, and highest level of care. Sometimes clients, residents just want to talk to you if you have positive energy, they detect that from caregivers. I'm not gonna write 1,000 words to describe how much i love this field of work. It's work that some can do, some can't, i'm outgoing, funny, happy and very approchable, and sociall. I have a 26yr old daughter, and a 19yr old son those are pretty much my friends, my life, my greatest blessing, achievements. Due to the fact they're really great people. I also take care of my mother who,s gonna be 80 in april, she has a benigne ping pong size brain tumor that has her 80% blind. My fathers 75 and has major arthritis but i kept them in their home, it's a sacrafice that i do happily. My kids do come to care for my parents when i'm working. I'm naturally dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with people. I feel that when you are older, you'd want someone like yourself there to help you if you need help & also I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life.

I have been a caregiver for 11 years. I have experience in Home health and Nursing homes. I have worked with Senior citizens and the Developmentally Delayed . I can assist with anything from Medication reminders, bathing, running errands, meal prep, feedings, laundry, housekeeping, companionship.. anything you need I will be more than happy to help . Being a caregiver is just a part of me, I am meant to do it. I love everything about it. From the time I took care of my grandma and my grandfather that was the start. There are a lot of family's that just need help and are busy. I can not explain the joy I get out of my job and helping other. My kids are grown raising them was a great joy and now help others is a greater joy to me..

I have a great personality. I am very loving, caring, empathetic, outgoing, and compassionate. I feel I am an excellent caregiver because I have a big heart and I always care for others and empathize with many situations and people. I just know how to give great care and compassion to my clients/patients. What attracted me to being a Caregiver is my Aunt. She was a caregiver when I was very young. I saw how compassionate she was and how much her clients loved her it made me want to do the same. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is taking care of my patients and seeing the satisfaction in the families face and spirit, seeing that I gave them a piece of mind also gives me a piece of mind. I've been doing this for almost 10 years now and nothing brings me more joy than the actually seen the smile on someone's face May realize how much less should care for and try to help them.I chose to become a caregiver after my grandmother fell ill and was diagnosed with cancer, every since that day when I was a child I made a it dedication to my life to work and help others heal. I would say that the greatest perk about choosing me as a caregiver it is other than being a nurse I'm also a biochemist and I specialize in genetics.
