I obtained certification as a HHA prior to that , so I hold that distinction as well. I've spent 3 years on the front lines of healthcare, and I'm well-acquainted with the duties and responsibilities required by STNAs, especially in an elderly care facility. On the practical side, I can feed, dress, bathe and mobilize patients with ease. On the interpersonal side, I've held many hands and listened to many stories. I am an old school care provider with over 25 years of experience. I personally provide care to your loved ones as if they are my very own family cause I too would like to have the same care I provide someday. I enjoy the interactions that I have with so many families with the care that I provide for the loved ones. My personal achievement is knowing that I provide quality care and that I am now continuing my education in the medical field .

I love providing home care services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so.  The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right.  I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Meeting new people and providing care services that they can no longer do for themselves. One of my personal achievement I am proud of is when I worked as a resident safety assistant coordinator in the falls reduction program in the state of Minnesota the percentage before the program was very high and within a year and a half of the program our falls related injuries have reduced by half. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.
