I love helping the elderly I've been doing it since I was 16. That is my passion to help someone. I can say that every client or patient loved and liked me a lot. I do a good job go above and beyond. I treat the elderly like that was one of my grandparents.

I have been a caregiver for four years. I have experienced working in assisted living facilities, hospitals and homes. Passionate about elder care. I am charismatic, caring and calm person. Able to provide both physical and emotional support to clients. Culturally sensitive. Willing to transport clients to appointments and events if needed.

I been doing home health for multiple years because I like helping people and also learning things from the people I take care of. What makes me a good caregiver is my ability to go above and beyond the normal to brighten someone's day and to know that there are people that need and appreciate my help.You have to have patience and a caring attitude some cases are harder than others but in the end its about helping people stay somewhat independent and the need for loving dedicated caregivers are on the rise.

I'm a 52 year old male, with 5+yrs as an STNA. I've taken care of male, and female clients who all usually asked for me specifically. So i do respectfully apply for jobs that may prefer females. Only because i've VERY successfully cared for both M/F. This type of work is very specific, and requires dilligence 100% of the time. I enjoy this work for many reasons, but the biggest is to provide comfort, safety, and make my clients, your loved ones feel like they have my trust, and i'll earn theirs.That happens out of the utmost respect, kindness, patience, and highest level of care. Sometimes clients, residents just want to talk to you if you have positive energy, they detect that from caregivers. I'm not gonna write 1,000 words to describe how much i love this field of work. It's work that some can do, some can't, i'm outgoing, funny, happy and very approchable, and sociall. I have a 26yr old daughter, and a 19yr old son those are pretty much my friends, my life, my greatest blessing, achievements. Due to the fact they're really great people. I also take care of my mother who,s gonna be 80 in april, she has a benigne ping pong size brain tumor that has her 80% blind. My fathers 75 and has major arthritis but i kept them in their home, it's a sacrafice that i do happily. My kids do come to care for my parents when i'm working. I am able to relate to all ages and circumstances. My cheerful personality helps to make the day go smoothly for the most part. I am flexible and easygoing. As a mother who raised a severely-disabled son, I can relate to families and caregiving stress. My goal is to help my clients have the best day possible with the most dignity. My experiences include 25 + years working with seniors and the dementia population. I became a Dementia Specialist and Behavior specialist . My job included hands on care,training staff , facilitating support groups for family and friends of people with dementia. I also did public speaking to groups about dementia. I just love helping people that can't help themselves. it's brought me great joy to know that I have made a difference in someone else life, who no longer able to help themselves.

I'm naturally dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with people. I feel that when you are older, you'd want someone like yourself there to help you if you need help & also I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life.

I became a caregiver after my husband became ill. He had a great caregiver during his first stay in the hospital. She was so kind and compassionate, not just with but our whole family. I wanted to give that kind of support to others. I am compassionate, a little stern, supportive, a good listener , fun and love to laugh. I am very serious about skin care and comfort.
