I love to help others!!For 28 years it has brought me joy to know that I do something everyday that puts a smile on an individuals face. I'm giving back what was given to me, at sometime or another we all need someone to care for us so its my duty to give back. Raising my kids and finishing school so i could do what i love. I am a leader, and a team player, having thw chance to recruite great help also helped me understand what it was like working in the office and how hard it is at times to get good help for our lives loved ones so as long as I can I will help make it easier for everyone and I will not stand for abuse of any kind to anyone..

Hi everyone, My name is Danielle, but everyone calls me Dani. I'm a certified Home Health Aide (soon to be a certified CNA and PCT (yes I have goals) that has over ten years experience in the health field. I have worked with individuals in the MR population, Veterans, individuals who are homeless, the Elderly, individuals who suffer from Substance Abuse, at risk teens and parolees. In this role, I have served hundreds of patients in their home with basic but exceptional service in duties such as: personal hygiene, healthcare, feeding, toileting, bathing, medication reminders and grooming. My expertise consist of the following: Dementia Alzheimer Autism Developmental Disabilities Blind Non-Verbal Non-Mobile Wheelchair usage Hover usage Catheter usage and more I absolutely love working in the health field. I love being able to help others and being their safe haven. Just being able to put a smile on individuals faces makes me happy.

I have always had the desire to help individuals to live a more rewarding life. It is a wonderful feeling to take away someones pain/ worries/ problems. I have cared for and raised five children and worked caring for people in multiple settings for over 25 years. I am on my own again and have relocated to my hometown of Somerset to start fresh. I am anxious to reconnect with the area and love caring for individuals on a one on one basis. Having been an RN for many years, I would very much love to care for people in their homes and treat them as family. I would like to be the extra pair of arms we all need from time to time. Going to Doctor's visits, trips to the grocery store, light housekeeping, general household pickup, walks in the park, general companionship, etc. I love to sew and read. Hi! My name is Matilda. I am 20 years old with approximately a years worth of experience as a CNA. Now I know that doesn't sound like a lot of time, but I was trained in a skilled nursing facility. In a skilled nursing facility I got to meet and take care of so many amazing people. People who were long term ended up like a second family, even ones who were short term ended up like family and got treated as such. I pride myself in giving the best care I possibly can while respecting each of my residents as an individual person, learning their likes and dislikes, and respecting their opinions. One of the questions on here is "What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver?" My answer to that is simple. I enjoy being able to see someone nearly everyday and making them smile,to make them feel respected, to make them feel they've been treated with dignity, and to make their life a little easier by taking some weight off their shoulders. A few things about myself I have 5 children, I go to college full time for Business and have always had a passion for taking care of others! I love helping others, great at communication, passionate, kind hearted, and always treat patients as if they are my own family. What attracted you to being a caregiver? My mom was sickly when I was growing up so I always helped her and knew that I had a passion for it! I love being able to help others and make sure they get the best possible experience! What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? The ability to help others and provide them the assistance and care they need! What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Continuing my education.

I enjoy taking care of people. I think that any one that you care for should be treated like family, and making them smile. I am proud of myself for raising a wonderful son on my own, the experience was wonderful and would not change any thing. I am a very caring person, I took care of my father, and now I am caring for my mother. We only have one set of parents and they deserve there childrens respect and love. I am happy to be in this position and again would not change a thing. I had the experience of doing 24 hour care and have been hooked ever since. I am a very caring, responsible,dependable, honest and trusting person and have always had a good rating on being on time for work, stayed to work over time and best showing up for my shift every day. I like caring for people it makes me feel that what ever I do for them gives me a great feeling inside to be helpful. If you can help keep your patient happy and at ease when you are with them is a great feeling also, taking care of people that are not feeling well or that are sick takes a special type of person. Not every one is cut out for it.

Helping people in their homes , for one on one care that most do not receive in a nursing facility. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I am also a med-tech, and diabetic trained and certified. I enjoy the company and getting to know new people.
