My is Tadhg O Isin Burk I am a young but a fast to learn Caregiver with more then a few different titles under my belt I have a Medical Background as a PCT and Years of Emergency Care as a Fireman. What Attracted me the most to this type of work is I Love people and when I was young I lost someone very close to me who lost their battle with Cancer ever since then I wanted to provide as much comfort as I can to those going threw the same experience. I become a caregiver in order to be in solidarity with those who cannot do by themselves by assisting them with the daily activities such as bathing,grooming,dressing,feeding,mobilityaand transportation. What l like about being a caregiver is that it's a humbling job keeping in mind that what l do for others one day one time it will be done to me .It is an educational job that l have to do for somebody what l would like to be done to me.It is a rewarding job. I have been employed by UPMC Jameson Hospital as a patient transporter in Lawrence County Pa for @ least 25 yrs now, and I'm very attentive, communicate well, and I'm very good with the elderly. I'm looking to move on from my years at UPMC Jameson hospital into a career of being a caregiver.
