I never know what to write when it comes to this part. Most people say I'm happy go lucky, I have a quirky sense of humour. I guess I would have to my step mom introduced me to the field, She was a nurse in a long term care facility, they were short handed and needed help. Needless to say I was very young and didn't last long. As I got older and became a single parent I needed work and it just seemed like the natural thing to do, to become a caregiver to others outside of my children. I believe my greatest joy in doing this job is helping others and making a difference in their lives, even if it's just making a snack or a meal, or shaving a face or combing hair. Sometimes is the smallest thing that make the biggest difference for someone. I would have to saY my personal achievement I'm most proud of is raising my children alone to adulthood, to be respectful, productive adults. Now helping to raise my youngest grandson.

Hello my name is Megan, I am 27 years old. I have a medical assistant degree, CNA, phlebotomy and I have two more years of Nursing school left to become an RN. I have worked in many nursings homes, day programs, hospitals, hospice centers, group homes etc. I am familiar with medication given times if need be. All different types of medical conditions as well. I've worked with many of clients in the last 7 years. I enjoy helping people with their everyday daily needs, I feel comfort that they trust me to care for them and leave them with a smile at the end of every day. I have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

Outdoors type of guy, I enjoy laughing, Rollerblading, sky watching and walks.I'm always smiling, I enjoy spending time and Helping others. I enjoy hearing life experiences/Stories of others helps me to gain grip on my life and learn. Uncontrollable drive to helping others, our senior citizens, children has been weighing on my heart for sometime now. If not now then when, has drove me for my career change at this time in my life. I have been a cna for almost 8 years and I absolutely LOVE what I do. I became a cna after taking care of my grandfather when my grandmother couldn't care for him no longer. He made me realize what Im meant to do. My goal is to be a Nurse one day. I have worked in all aspects of healthcare. From my 1st job being in an all male medium security prison as a cna to working hospice,private duty, nursing homes, and home care. Im very good at what I do and have never had a complaint. Im very respectful and go above and beyond for my clients. My clients become family to me. I get joy in making someone elses day a little brighter and better.
