Hello, I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 20 years. I've always had a passion for caring for those who may be in need of healthcare services and assistance with maintaining dignity and as much as independence as possible. I am CPR certified, up to date on all vaccinations including COVID. I have experience with several areas of healthcare ranging from acute hospital, nursing home, hospice, disabilities and special needs, and home health. I enjoy being able to make someone's day better by providing a comforting ear, hand, smile, or personal care whenever needed. I feel that we all need someone with compassion, sympathy/ empathy, and a genuine love for wanting to see people do well in whatever capacity of life they may be. I have an Associates Degree in Human Services and one of my current achievements is deciding to pursue a degree in nursing. I became a caregiver because I like caring for people. It gives me joy to know that I am providing care for someone that really need it. If I could say what I like the most about care giving I would say the smiles and responses that I am caring for. It is a important to know that you have made the difference in the life of those that you are blessed to care for. A personal achievement that I am proud of is going back to school. I am currently enrolled in Ashford University and I am doing well. I am currently working as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) and since I have been doing this, I am finding that i love it more and more.

Hello, my name is De'Shayna, I go by shayna for short. I attended The Academy for Technology and Academics where I studied health science and received my CNA license in 2015. I have since worked full time in a nursing home for two years and hospital for two years. In my free time i took up some home health jobs and did some hospice work as well. I love what I do, because not only am I there to care for someone I'm there to give them companionship. Someone to talk to. Someone to look forward to. Nothing warms my heart more than seeing my residents facing when I walk into the door.

I became a caregiver about 6 years ago the reason why I took the positon because I have a good heart when it come to dealing with older people. I enjoy doing it I like to see the happines on there face when u take the time to sit down talkk to them make them feel good about themselves and they well being. My prrsonal achievement I would say god gave the heart to love and be a caring person. Im very outgoing very dependable love to work love making others feel good about there self.

I became a care giver because my mother became sick and I wanted her to have the best care and for someone to genuinely care about her physical and mental health. I knew I could do the job because I Wanted to help my mom and my family. I am a honor graduate from MMTC. I became a Medical Assistant because I want to help people and their families care for their loved ones. Not only do I have the technical skills for the job, I also have the heart for it. I genuinely care for people's health and well being. Everyone's important and I believe everyone has the right to health care.
