My name is Stacy. I have about 20 years of health care experience as a CNA, home health aide, patient care assistant, resident assistant, and my last adventure was as an RN with a hospice organization in Florida. My passion is caring for others. Even as a young girl, I was very attentive toward others needs. I have always put my heart in my work and cared for my patients and clientele, as if they were family. I am very considerate and respectful of others things, personal spaces, likes and dislikes. I easily adapt to personal preferences, as I understand that we all have them. My job is to assist one, to complete their daily activities, as if they were able to do it themself. I enjoy being an uplifting and fun individual. I am a lover of the outdoors, so if one may enjoy trips outdoors, I am more than willing to accomadate. I enjoy bringing a smile to someone's face and a little light into their darkness. I love animals as well, so light animal care is fine with me as well. I am very organized and like to keep my spaces neat and clean. I am very hygiene and health oriented, as well as knowledgeable on preventing the spread of infection. Hello. My name is Toria Gilewala. I have worked within the healthcare industry for over 15 years as a CNA, Direct Support Professional, and Case Manager. I have a strong passion for helping others, and would describe myself, as an advocate for marginalized populations, ambitious, caring, versatile, and hard-working. I became attracted to caregiving after completing a CNA course and clinical rotation (at a local hospital) during my senior year of high school. This experience had a lasting impact on my life, prompting me to work and pursue college degrees within the healthcare industry. My previous work experience consists of working in home health care, hospital, nursing home, and community health center settings, where patient's individual needs varied. The most enjoyable part of being a caregiver is helping to make a difference in the life of others, from different walks of life. A personal achievement I am most proud of is being awarded Employee of the Year by the ETSU College of Nursing.

It takes someone who is caring and compassionate as well as knowledgeable and professional to be a successful caregiver. Help manage patient schedules and ensure all doctor's appointments are kept. Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation. Administer medications following doctor's instructions. Help patients complete prescribed therapy and exercise routines. Remove safety hazards and report issues to management and/or family.

I've been a Registered Nurse since 2013. I have worked many areas including; OB, women's health, orthopedics, oncology, medical/surgical, wound care, IV management, medication management, all activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc) physician scheduling and management. I have been a travel nurse for the last year and I've handled and experienced a lot of really amazing medical works. Being an RN limits my time with my patients. I want a more personal relationship with the people I care for. Before looking at wages, look at skill set: that can be the difference between life and death for your loved one.
