I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I am a licensed Registered Nurse, with 20+ yr. experience in patient care. I worked 10yr. in the Home Health field, providing care for home bound seniors and disabled patients. I also served 12yr. as a licensed foster parent for special needs children. I have travelled as a Missionary Nurse with Healthcare Ministries, since 2006. I am the eldest of 5 siblings. I love taking care of people. I have over 12 years experience as a caregiver. I am reliable, punctual and very good at what I do. I have training with dementia, copd, hospice, special needs, just to name a few.

I believe in providing elderly with quality and passionate care. I've been doing this line of work for approximately 10 years. Throughout my work history I've learned that too do this line of work you have to be dedicated and compassionate, and I'm just that. Hello, i've been a CNA for a total of 14 years but 9 years i have been working for the same Hospice company. I love what I'm doing so now i'm furthering my education of nursing.

When I was 16 years old my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. I had the privilege of sitting with him for his final 2 months of life. With that experience I learned how to be empathetic as well as the value of patience. As his health began to decline I saw how important it was to help him complete daily task that was once easy for him to do on his own. Teaching him how to navigate to the sink to assist with brushing his teeth, or helping him roll over when his body was too stiff for him to move on his own; are just small examples of what he needed help with on a day to day basis. Right then, at such a young age I knew that I wanted a career in helping others. What I enjoyed most was knowing that his final months, he had me there to take care of him. I was able to make his last few moments as easy as possible. Getting my Phlebotomy Certification is a huge achievement that I am proud of. At one point I had a terrible fear of needles, so I enrolled into a program to not only gain helpful skills to help progress my career; but to also overcome a fear that I carried around since I was a small girl.
