I will be a great caregiver because I love working with the elderly I love meeting new people I love doing as asked I love socializing with the elderly and even their families.what attracted me to being a caregiver was because I have experienced taking care of my grandmother who had passed away and I have experience taking care of other clients I love working with the elderly due to the fact that I love helping I love being a helper. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I not only get to bring a smile to the client's face but I also am there to talk to the client I am open with them to let them know that they could talk to me about anything and what I am told I keep it to myself I do not share it with anybody else. My personal achievement that I am very proud of is that I am a genuine lady who loves helping the community and who loves helping the elderly people I love to spread my care and my compassion for the elderly to the client that I have I love making my clients smile I love walking out with a smile when you make your client smile that means that you are doing something right!

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is because I am patient, compassionate, reliable, honest and I have some experience. I did not know about care giving until I came to this Nation and my family members introduced me to it and after doing it for a few months I started to enjoy taking care of people in need and I have been doing it ever since. What I like most about being a caregiver is when am taking care of a patient and am able to help them do what they could not do by themselves and see the face brighten and smile. My personal achievement that am proud of is handling a combative patient make them calm and they accept care, take their medications and meals.

A little about me... I've been a certified nurses aide for over 20 years. I've worked in nursing homes, private sitting and I've worked in Hospice for the past 10 years. I love what I do. Since i started working as a CNA, I've gone to school to do other things, but I keep coming back as a CNA, so I feel this is my passion. My children are grown and I have 3 amazing and beautiful grand children, and another on the way. That's a little about me....

Patient and kind I listened to my patients needs and make sure everything is met to the best of my ability. I have always wanted to help others the way I would want my mom or grandma to be taken care of so I became a certified nurses assistant. My best achievement I am so proud of is going back to school to better mine and my kids lifes.

Hey! My name is Kenzi jones. I've worked health care for 5 years now! Ive worked mainly assisted living facility's but have experience in home health. I normally assisted residents with activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals. I've always wanted to care for people. My mother worked in the same nursing home my entire childhood, so I basically grew up there. I like to make people's lives better and help them with all that they need. Feels my heart to see them smiling. My boys they are my world n I'm proud if them. I love to cook n bake and read. I am caring, empathetic, and quick to learn. I have been around all ages and have seen & experienced many different disabilities or health conditions. I tend to be a fixer. I know majority of the patients are probably going to be terminal but personally, I believe everyone in life is considered terminal. I look at things as if we aren't going to get out alive, so let's 1. Meet the necessary needs for each patient. 2. Let them enjoy the life they have left here with the people they love & by doing the things they love. I think for the most part when you have a heart that's keen to the caregiving industry, the most enjoyable thing is getting to go home with a fulfilling, "I did good for someone who truthfully needed it" feeling. But most of all, there's no story like an old story. I love to listen to them, to take in as much as I can but making sure I still fulfill my professional expectations while doing so. My heart is kind and ready to help or do everything in my power to keep these patients happy. Being that I am only 24, I don't have a whole lot of personal achievements that I'm beyond ecstatic to share just yet. But I think in this moment, answering this question, my most proud achievement so far is overcoming the life that I chose for myself. Overcoming the toxic family, overcoming my own personal self doubts or self worth. To feel like enough is enough some days & to know I am worthy of this life, to know God has put me here to do his work so He can sit back and watch is an overwhelming, gracious humbleness. I decided at the age of 12 that I wanted to be a caretaker. My father was bedridden due to being a triple amputee, on dialysis and a diabetic. I was the only child still at home and my mother worked two jobs to make ends meet. For 2 years I was my responsibility to help him with his every move when I got out of school every day. He thought me that a person's pride keeps them from asking for help. I now go out of my way to show people it s perfectly normal to ask for help and very important to accept the help. I treat everyone as if they are my family because I want people to treat my family with the same respect.

I have work as a hospice cna over 15 years and prior to that have done private duty and nursing home care . Enjoy catering for Elderly and helping them keep their independence as long as possible .
