I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I love caring for people. I have been a caregiver the majority of my life. Along with working as a caregiver currently, I was my maternal grandmothers caregiver while she had Alzheimer's until she passed in November 2015. I then became a caregiver to my paternal grandmother who had liver cancer for a few months until she passed in November of 2016. I have taken care of or been a companion of many others for over 20 years. I like giving back and helping those that are unable to help themselves. I treat my clients and take care of them like they are my family. I like to talk about just about anything and love to hear about their lives. I enjoy seeing a smile on their faces because they have someone to talk to and listen to them and help them.

I have experience in cooking, cleaning, transporting to appointments or errands, giving meds, restorative therapy, grooming, transferring, etc. I worked in assisted living for a few years and also I trained in hospital. I have worked with the elderly for a great number years. I have worked in differant nursing facilities as well as odyssey hospice, and home health care. I enjoy my time working as I have learned alot from just talking with differant people. Working with the elderly is a very rewarding job. Its not just about a pay check with me its about the quality of care I provide and the companionship.

I would like to believe that I would be a perfect fit for anyone but thats not true. What I can say about myself is that I am dedicated, I am a hard worker, and I am a fast learner. I have been in healthcare some way, shape, or form since I was 15. I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. I have been certified to pass meds and I am CPR certified. I hope to hear from you and to help you or your loved ones.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I truly do care for people. I believe that there is nothing more rewarding that being able to help some one in need. My prayer is that when I'm in need that someone will also help me the way that I am able and willing to help others.
