I am an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with more than two decades of experience in the healthcare professions as both a Registered Nurse in Colombia and a Certified Nurse Assistant in the United States. In my most recent job, I worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant who provided outstanding healthcare services to residents at Heartis of Waco Assisted Living and Memory Care. Prior to moving to the United States in 2008, I worked for more than 8 years as a surgical room nurse in a cosmetic surgery clinic in my native country of Colombia. I have five years prior experience as a CNA and have worked in both a hospital environment and also a handful of Long Term Care facilities. I was a travel CNA my last two years of work so I got to travel many different places locally to help with care in my area! I become very hands-on with their family. So they can trust me and the client can trust me as well. I don't do this just for a paycheck. I do this because I love what I do and love giving back to people that need our help. I'm very compassionate and what I do.. Just reinsuring the family that they can count on me. And knowing that they can be at ease when they leave. Their loved ones with me is my reward I feel.
