I've worked as a nurse assistant over 16 yrs caring for disabled, elderly, ill, and mentally challenged clients. I have worked in nursing home, hospital, home care, senior facility, respite care, private duty, direct care service, and hospice care, and trained in massage. I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. I had several resident tell me that I'm wonderful, and I had a tearful moment. It's a blessing to hear positive thinking from a client. Hi I'm sara, I'm 25 years old with a strong and motivated mindset. I am always coming up with creative ways to put a smile on my clients faces! Keeping their spirits high has always made a positive impact on them. I started out as a student at a small facility in malakoff tx, I got certified almost 3 years ago and learned quite a bit becoming a CNA. I believe one of the reasons I am a great caregiver is because I take my time, encourage and follow safety protocols when working with the clients. Hello I have been a CNA for over 10 years. I've worked from Texas to Colorado during covid. Recently I had my first child who is 11 months already so I am finally going to settle down in one spot. I've lived in Corsicana for 17 years so this is home. I followed in my sister's footsteps who was a CNA first and in my opinion the best if I can be half as good as she was. I like the one on one time with my patients versus the nursing home environment which is fast paced very little time with each patient. I've worked in nursing homes for all 17 years either with an agency or the facility it's self. I've worked as a sitter for different families as well during my time.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is because I am patient, compassionate, reliable, honest and I have some experience. I did not know about care giving until I came to this Nation and my family members introduced me to it and after doing it for a few months I started to enjoy taking care of people in need and I have been doing it ever since. What I like most about being a caregiver is when am taking care of a patient and am able to help them do what they could not do by themselves and see the face brighten and smile. My personal achievement that am proud of is handling a combative patient make them calm and they accept care, take their medications and meals.

I like being a caregiver because I get to help others that need it. It makes me feel good to makes a difference. I love my own grandmother and love to help her with her needs. I help her cook and clean her house twice a month. I am a mother and do housefly duties everyday. This is the perfect job for me.
