My personality traits, being attracted to being a caregiver, and why I enjoy being a cargiverfor are that I truely enjoy caring for clients in their own homes. I am a very fast learner, very organized, reliable, hard-working, have good transportation, and always strive to perform my very best at any job I do. I am also very excellent at completing my paperwork on time. My most most personal achievement as being a caregiver/RN in the home health care environment is the one time I felt I really helped a client out with her disability. I had a client a few years ago that had been unable to leave her home due to the fact that she didn't have a wheelchair ramp attached to her home. She was unable to go down her front steps for about 3 years due to her arthritis in her legs. Thru lots of research, I was finally able to find a traveling church group that would donate their time helping clients in need by building them home improvements to help them. I was able to get up with them to have them come to her home and build her a wheelchair ramp. I was so happy for her, that we both cried. That was one of my best days on the job!

I'm always happy and I love being able to be a helping hand to someone who needs it and seeing my patients happy makes me happy

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I have patience when it come to my patients. I maintain a confident attitude at all time. I am very supportive and trustworthy.

Ive been a cna off & on sence 1998. Ive worked in hospitals ,nursing homes, home health ,& private care . I took time off to care for my grandmother & my mother befor they passed . I treat each paitent like thier family

I am a licensed Registered Nurse, with 20+ yr. experience in patient care. I worked 10yr. in the Home Health field, providing care for home bound seniors and disabled patients. I also served 12yr. as a licensed foster parent for special needs children. I have travelled as a Missionary Nurse with Healthcare Ministries, since 2006. I STARTED AS A CAREGIVER IN 2009 FOR A HOME HEALTH AGENCY AN DIDN'T THINK I WOULD LIKE IT AS MUCH AS I DID ITS JUST THE PASSION I HAVE FOR CARING FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T CARE FOR THEM SELF REGARDLESS OF THEIR AGE GROUP. I WAS A CAREGIVER FOR THREE YEARS THEN I LEFT AN WENT TO TEXAS STATE SUPPORT LIVING CENTER AND WORKED FOR NACOGDOCHES ISD AS A SIDED JOB ON MY DAYS OFF AS A SUB IN THE SPECIAL EDUCATION BUILDING. AS I WAS WORKING I ATTENDANT CNA COURSE AT NIGHT BECAUSE THE STATE SCHOOL WASN'T ANYTHING LIKE HOME HEALTH. AS OF NOW I'M CURRENTLY TAKING ONLINE SCHOOL FOR MEDICAL OFFICE AND I AM REALLY ENJOYING IT. CARE GIVING IS MY LIFE I GUESS I CAN HONESTLY SAY I LOVE PROVIDING CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT NEED IT THE MOST.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion for helping others in need. I enjoy being able to help other people with their daily tasks and duties to keep them comfortable. I am currently in nursing school.
