I like taking care of people helping people out and meeting new people as well and hearing their stories if they are able to tell me them ive been a cna since 1994 I just enjoy helping people out and taking care of people in my family wanted me to become a caregiver what I enjoy most is like I said meeting and helping people out my personal achievement that im proud of is becoming a cna and raising my family alone and taking care of people and meeting them as well

I became a caregiver 9 yrs, ago. it all began when my aunt was admitted in to a nursing home facility. my grandmother would go visit her on a daily and every day after school I would go with her and every day my aunt would be in the same situation. soiled, left in bed for hours. with bed sores all over her from not being reposition. So from tht day forward I had vow that I would become a nurse or a caregiver. I vowed that I would do my best to make sure tht every patient that I came in contact with will have the best care tht I could provide. it brings me joy that I can help them physical or emotionally. I look at each and everyone of them as my own family. I believe with tht brings out the best in all of us to want to do our best. my best achievement is not of any awards but the reward of being there to my best for my patients to put a smile on there face and for them to feel of importance and to let them knw their voices matters.

My easiest to get around all them me being a caregiver helps to hear stories and taking or helping everybody taking care and meeting new people I dont think I have any right now

Hi my name is Emily Webner I grew up being the youngest so being around older people doesnt scare me. After I finished high school I decided I wanted to go out and help where it was needed. I tend to get along great with the elderly people. I became a caregiver to help the elderly with things they could no longer manage.

I have been doing this line of work since i was 15/16 years old. Started taking care of my great grandmother and loved every minute of it. I love to take care of people. Children too. This is my life calling. I wouldnt trade what i do for anything.

I love taking care of people, especially the elderly. My entire career has been in care-giving, first in the convent (Franciscanas de la Immaculada, Guatemala) and now in private practice. I have Guatemalan nursing credentials (not recognized in the US). Everyone says that I am hard working. I will start coursework for my CNA in June of this year. I am very patient, loving and kind. People say that I smile all of the time. I am never stressed. People say that I have a good sense of humor. But [she] must work, doing something useful with [her] own hands, that [she] may have something to share with those in need. (Ephesians 4:28 NIV)

I am very compassionate and caring which is why I went into nursing as a career. I prefer to care for the geriatric and/or disabled adult population because I feel there is a lack of qualified professionals who work for this population. Becoming a nurse was my greatest accomplishment only second to being the mother of 3 wonderful children. I enjoy conversations with my patients and the self satisfaction I take away from helping to make someone's life more comfortable.
