I love my career as a caregiver (CNA).I have been doing this for over 25 years. And I strive to be the best every day. Listening and try to know my client's needs are my utmost goal every day on the job. I love to see the Joy I am able to bring and the peace of mind to my clients every day knowing I am showing up no matter what to help them through the day.

I have always been a care giver. Not always in the work field, but even as a child it was in me to care for everything. I always thought it was my duty to care for anyone and everything. Started with animals (some of which didn't need care according to their owners ha) and went to vet assistant. Then to opening a day care and caring for children. After the day care I was a school bus driver. When I could no longer drive a big bus physically I became a CNA and will stay such until my retirement. My heart is to tender to work in big facilities where I observed care takers having to rush to get their work done and to many older folks sitting around with no one to talk to. I knew it wasn't the CNA's fault, but my heart hurt after my internship at a great facility. It was then I knew I could not work for a facility. When I worked for an agency, I saw that they truly didn't care who they placed with who, had policies that limited our ability to actually be a friend to our clients and it was more about the profit than if the workers or clients were happy. So this led me to become a private care giver. I can work cheaper than what someone would pay an agency and there are no rules saying I can't get attached to my client! I truly care, and won't be told not to. I do realize that sometimes chemistry isn't right, but at lease we can discover it rather than just being thrown together and expected to work. I currently have one client and can add one more. I keep my hours limited so my schedule can be easily tailored to yours. I am a respite care giver. Meaning I am a permeant relief caregiver. I will do over nights a couple days a week, and 2- 5 hour shifts during the day. This is all negotiable! I haven't been a paid caregiver for long so couldn't list many years. But my experience is much longer, and my training is fresh and continuing.

I am a health care professional and have ranked house manager ability at a disability services company in San Diego. I have loved what I do while making a difference in peoples lives that are vulnerable and struggle I attain many certificates on hand and look forward to making a positive difference and problem solve. Im a good listening ear and have a compassionate hand I would love to meet with you to see what I am able of doing thats why we are here.

Passionate/caring/kind/patience

I chose to become a CNA and caregiver due to my extreme passion for caring for others. I am very patient, caring, friendly, and easy to get along with. I enjoy the satisfaction it gives me to see the smile on a clients face when they are finally able to take those first few steps I have been encouragingly help coach to after a rough knee surgery. Or when my client walks out into the once filthy and trashed kitchen only to see it sparkling clean while they inhale the scent of fresh lemons and a pleased smile cross their face. Those moments make all those days of 16hour shifts and nonstop madness when everyone on your floor is sick at the same time, worth every last tear, complaint, and restless minute. My compasion for others helps me shine as a caring, reliable, selfstarting, long time caregiver and companion.

I am a health care professional with about 7 years experience under my belt. I went to Dental Assistant school at 19 years of age and was officially a dental assistant graduate by 20 years of age. I love helping vulnerable and in need clients by slowly getting comfortable and introduced I love using my since of humor. I have been trained on observing challenges and seeing to it what your loved one needs. More background on myself ... I transferred my carrier over to Nurse assisting when my great grandmother passed away in my arms. It was a life changing experience I then gained a special ambition and charisma to help people in the nursing field. I've been a visiting angel I've worked for multiple major assisted living nursing homes all over the skagit county I have references as well for that in hand if needed. I was a manager for a company called Res care friendship disability services in San Diego CA. I obtained most of my skills with Disability clients and mental health specialty training positive behavior support and problem solving ethic due to challenging triggers some of the clients I've worked with that had occurred. I remain positive open minded with providing compassion always as I believe mental health is important when your loved ones are sick and or vulnerable and needing a helping hand and a positive person to exceed intently to the word (help) in their life. I can pass a back ground check and I have obtained my Nurse assistant registration for 5 years in a row. I am still young and can be bubbly and fun. I am a great listener my only intention is to make a better difference and to make light in a dark place
