Hello! I'm Kaitlyn, from Winchester, VA. I am a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA). I have 5+ years working as a CNA. I received my BA from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am currently working on my masters at Mary Baldwin University. I work a full-time at home job and am looking to pick up a few hours working as a CNA. I enjoy working as a CNA because I love getting to know people and their stories, assisting those who may have no one else to depend on, and providing genuine support. My ability to go above and beyond. I'm always smiling and very patient ,great listener. What attracted me to be a caregiver is just seeing how many people need help and knowing I can offer the help even before becoming a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to see my patients smile knowing I can make they day and help them and take some load off them to relax. A personal achievement I'm proud of is making the president list in college and moving me and my kids into a new place.

I'm a very caring person I tend to put peoples needs before my own a lot I grew up with a aunt who was wheel chair bound and I've always admired my grandmother for taking care of her and always made me want to care for those who can't care for them self . It's a bitter sweet moment working in health care being the one these people see in their ending days it's an amazing feeling but being there and watching the transition is kind of hard but it's worth it knowing they had someone by their side the whole time while family members have to continue to work and maintain life a personal achievement would be juggling being a single mom and a caregiver never allowing the two to effect EACHOTHER .. and keeping a loving caring heart with the world we live in today

I became interested in care giving as a child / teen while caring for my grandmother, a survivor of 3 heart attacks and 3 strokes. I am certified in CPR/AED/ First Aid. I have a BA degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work and enjoy working with seniors and those with chronic health conditions.

I have always loved this field . But cannot bear to see the way our loved ones are treated , i am trying to make a difference by being a loving caregiver , I will go up and beyond for the loved one I am caring for!! & give them my full attention at all time while on the job !!

I pay attention to detail. Whether it be something the client likes or something they would prefer as opposed to just guessing. I want to build a personal one on one with my client. I feel it's the best for the both of us. Their comfortability is my main goal. I also like laugh an always try to keep a positive upbeat approach to life. What attracted me most to being a care giver is well for me I've always been compassionate and caring it was just something that came natural to me. I love helping someone feel as independent as possible. I also love people making new connections and just enjoy spending time with others who may never have any other human interaction but myself or other care givers being they may not have children or a large family .I became a Virginia licensed Medication Aide in2019 and also became a mother in 2020 Id have jto say those are some of my most nospecial achievements. and
