Hello my name is Christina. I have 15 years of experience in the caregiving field and will continue . I love caring for seniors it is the most rewarding thing i have ever done. I look at my patients as i would a family member and i treat them with respect and understanding . I love to listen to there stories and what they have to say i take into account how they are feeling and encourage them. I believe we will all be in need of the same care one day and i hope i will be treated with the same kindness that i have shown my patients. I wanted to become a caregiver because i have such admiration for seniors they have a history and are wise in there own way i believe we can learn alot from them.

Hello I'm Doris single mother of 3 lovely girls. I've been in the healthcare field for about 16 years I started off in home healthcare went on to get my Medical Assistant Degree in 2008. Afterwards I worked in multiple Doctors offices. Until I got my Cna degree in 2015 where I went on to work in the hospital on the acute Med Surge floor for about 6 months and left to do phlebotomy. Now I'm back doing home health care. I think that that I would be a great caregiver because I have always had a caring heart, I've always love to help people and make them feel better. I really don't know what attracted me to being a caregiver I've just always love being around older people and helping them and being there for them when they need it the most. I love sitting and talking to older people hearing their stories and the wisdom that they bring. I am a proud mother, I am also proud to have a caring heart even though it gets hurt sometimes. I'm proud that I am so full of joy and compassion because it helps me to help people around me and people that I meet. I am fully vaccinated.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people in general. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I really love helping people who need my help and to take care of they everyday needs. Someone who's aware of important information that a giving directly to me. I also graduated as a medical assistant from Everest Institute college. I also carry my Medical Assistance certificate diploma. I'm a very kind hearted, honest, reliable, hard working, responsible, trustworthy caregiver provider that you'll ever meet. I Assisted elderly clients, at their homes, with their daily life activities. Took vital signs and documented the results. Transferred clients from beds to chairs. Prepared and cooked meals. Washed dishes and laundry. Swept, mopped, and vacuumed floors. Provided companionship, medication reminders, and shopping services. Notified nurses of changes in behaviors or conditions. Followed all rules, regulations, and procedures to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality health care services.

I believe the things that makes me an excellent caregiver is my empathy and history with disabilities. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson disease when I was 8 years old and diagnosed with alzeimers when I was 13-14. I spent most of my time from the age of 8 learning how to care for my father and keeping him active. The thing I most enjoy about being a caregiver is the fact that it makes a difference in someone's life. It can make somebody's day if they have company. Daily activities aren't so stressful and it can help seniors feel comfortable. Lastly, A personal achievement I'm proud of is my time in the navy with 2 deployments.
