I have been a caregiver my whole life. I can remember as young as 8 years old, going to work with my mom visiting patients in their rooms, brushing the hair of a woman who was bed bound. I knew from an early age that taking care of others brought me joy. I attained a CNA Certificate in 1999 and have worked in nursing homes, rehab centers, private homes, one to one care, have also worked with terminally ill patients for a short time. I would love to go back to school for a Practical Nursing License in the near future.
