I am CNA, HHA, Med-Tech, and now a Care Manager. I love helping others that are in need! I had a daycare for 18 years. I was looking for something else in helping others that's why I went back to school to become a CNA and HHA. I'm now in Care Management. I manage medication's, doctors appointments, transportation and oversight of senior care. Which includes case management that includes, family members that live out of state, that I oversee their family members to make sure they are receiving the best care. I love spending time with the elderly. I would not trade my job as a Care Manager/caregiver. I have taken care of many seniors, in the last 17 years and love it so much! My friends, & family would all say I am a very optimistic, outgoing individual. The reason I have peaked an interest for caregiving all started with my mother. I loved seeing my mothers care patients being treated with much love, and kindness throughout her patients most difficult time. I would like to branch out my opportunities, and work ethic to help others, and give back to my community.

Over the past 3 years, I have been the care giver of my mother. She was first diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in the summer of 2017, and I placed my studies on hold and moved from New York to assist my mom on all her care needs including going to her appointments. This unfortunate event thought me the importance of caring of a person in need. Nearly all her appointments are in Los Angeles, therefore requiring me to drive her to her appointments and translate since her primary language is Spanish. I had to coordinate her appointments. I have learned that caring of a person is conforting when I make them feel that they can count on me and I am there to listen.

Hi, I'm Doug. I've been Caregiving for 13 years. Haved helped all sorts of clients. I especially can assist those who need a strong person to transfer patients out of their chairs, into cars or bed or onto toilet. I can bath clients on bed, in chair, or in shower. My experience includes people who've had strokes, COPD, Parkinsons, brain damage, paralysis and dementia. Companionship is also an important part of my services, keeping clients feeling safe and comfortable.
