I am a loving person with lots of room for growing and learning I have about 3/12 years experience What attracted me to being a caregiver is my dad was once in hospice and helping him and being there for him was something I did everyday and when he passed I was still in high school and by the time is was looking for a job it was something I wanted to continue doing and caring for others what I love the most is getting to know them and care for there needs and communicating talking about there pass some stories they might have.

As the eldest sibling, nurturing comes naturally to me. I have been in health care since college but it wasnt until a family member was in need of a care provider that I discovered my purpose in the medical field. Since then, I have continued my education for the last 10 years and in return have gained excellant skills in senior care, specialty care, palliative care, hospice/end of life care. My ability in providing superior care goes in hand with developing a strong relationship with my clients that know they can depend and trust the care and services I provide. I am a caring individual with approximately six years of direct patient care and emergency medical care experience. I am attracted to being a caregiver due to wanting to care for people and furthering my career in the field I want to work in. I am cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certified as well and understand medical conditions, medications, medical terminology and direct patient needs when it counts the most.

I feel like caregiving was something I was born to do. I really enjoy to get to know new people and help them with the tasks they need help with. I find satisfaction in caregiving as a job because it is such a rewarding feeling. I was raised to always be loving and caring of others. I have worked with Individuals that display outburst behavior. I have been working with individuals that are mentally disabled for 11 years and that has taught me to be patient and kind. Being able to help families that need help really makes me feel like I'm doing a job that is really important and makes me want to always do the best job I can do.

My traits of being an active listener and having a comforting personality always allowed me to develop a great bond between my residents and myself. I became a caregiver/nurse due to my natural tendency of always offering a helping hand to those that needed it. My personal achievemens are always those "thank yous" I received when my resident would be discharged from a nursing home and their comments towards me telling me "thank you for taking care of me."

My personality traits consist of: being confident, easy to talk to, trust worthy, loyal, witty, outgoing, determine, comforting, dedicated, claim under pressure. I believe that all of these traits make me a better team player and a great caregiver. What attracted me to be a great caregiver is in my life many tragic events have occurred. I believe it's what made me who I am today. The first event hit close to home, my grandpa was in the intensive care and I was there with him we'll he was passing away. before he pasted away he told me I would make an excellent caregiver. Another event happened, were a costumer had multiple seizers and I was able to have asses the situation calmly and productively. he received great medial care as I waited for the ambulance to arrive. I helped to the best of my ability. later on he came back one week later, to the store fully recovered and thanked me for helping; to save his life. I knew then that being in the medical was my calling. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is taking care of people and being to help them in there time and need. A personal achievement that I am so proud of is graduating Sanger high school with my certify Nursing Assist License, with my CPR license as well.

I became a CNA in 2010 and continued to work as a nurse assistant in retirement homes and I loved working there because I connected with the patients and always made them comfortable. I later on started working in the in home care services which I did well in given my background experience. I look forward to becoming a part of the healthcare team as soon as possible. Thank you

I'm a very caring person. I especially love caring for the elderly and hearing the stories they have to share about when they were younger. I love doing crafts and making jewelry with my daughter. I have taken care of a lady for 6 months with special needs and have taken care of my Father when he was in a accident a few years back. I also have my CPR/ First Aid certificate since April 2019
