I started caregiving over ten years ago and found out that helping other people In there time of need and to make them as comfortable as possible was what I wanted to do in life. I'm very responsible, attentive and reliable. You can contact any of my former clients or their families and they will all tell you that I become family. I've worked with Child care, autism , Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer patients, stroke and the elderly. I take them to doctors appointments, physical therapy, grocery store. I do light house keeping. Prepare all meals. Medication reminders. I assist with all bathroom needs.
I am patient, mature, reliable, and experienced as a caregiver. I began working as a caregiver taking care of my family while going to nursing school. I enjoy the elderly that need assistance very much as I am mature and can relate to a lot with them. I am proud of my certificate of perfect attendance in nursing school. I also enjoy volunteer work especially for veterans. I have a good sense of humor.

I was raised by my grandmother because my younger sister was born with a cleft palate. My grandmother was 70, so as a young child and a young adult being around her and all of her many friends it became normal for me. I love working with the elderly and have gained much knowledge and understanding of older people. I have worked with Hospice care, and worked with patients that have dementia and memory loss. I Have worked with wheelchair bound and stroke patients, have been very successful in rehabilitation. I recently relocated and have availability full time. I have excellent references, and would like to meet and talk with families that are looking for a supportive and loving caregiver.
I have compassion towards the elderly and children most especially those who are in need of help with their daily activities. My first experience as a caregiver for the elderly was when my sister and I took turns in taking care of our 83-year-old mother. Moreover, I am confident with taking care of kids because I raised my own three boys (they are all adults now). Aside from being a caregiver, I am active at our church being part of its ministry. I am a good team leader and also good at following instructions from my supervisor. I am good at organizing and I always see to it that my client's room and kitchen are clean and tidy.
I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and I have a passion to help people with special needs . I enjoy learning new ways of doing things, and using person centered thinking for everyone I care for. I'm a certified caregiver, I have already been prescreened and have current TB and first aid. I'm a caring and reliable person who is willing to be flexible with time .I believe I'm a great caregiver because I enjoy what I do and I'm patient, empathetic and attentive.
I love being a caregiver I derive such fulfillment from helping others in need. Providing care to other's is not a job it's a calling. The wisdom and knowledge that the elderly has to offer is extraordinary and it's my privilege to care for those who need care. I enjoy making people feel safe and secure even in the most difficult times of their lives. I have been doing this for the last ten years. Once you meet me in person you will quickly see what an engaging energetic individual I am. Thank you, Kelley
