Hello, my name is Simone Marcelin. I am a caregiver of 20+ years. I am very flexible in terms of scheduling. I mainly took care of the elderly. I have escorted patients to their doctor appointments. I have helped with hygiene upkeep, and daily medication reminders. I do not have a car but I will soon. No worries as I utilize Lyft/Uber in the meantime. I am originally from Florida. I love a good conversation especially with someone I am going to take care of daily. I try my very best to care for those I've been fortunate to meet. Since I was raised from birth by my grandparents, who also took care of my handicapped mom since 10 years before my birth, I've had a lifetime of being in an environment of senior care and disabled care. Starting in high school, I had a larger role in caring for my grandad and mom with medical issues, and this role increased as my grandad had cancer and various treatments for it as well as increased hospital stays. I have a great, genuine desire to help people, and I'm skilled at it too. God has continued growing my skills of care and problem-solving as I continue caring for my 4 step-kids and husband, and my mom when needed. I also have 2 dogs and a cat, so I'm fine being around pets; I have a lot of previous experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses when working for families as a nanny.

I have been taking care of the disabled since 1999. I love what I do. I have a kind compassionate heart.

It also made my father and I's relationship blossom even more and I am forever grateful that I was able to be an integral part of his recovery. I have almost 30 years of experience providing healthcare to seniors in nursing homes, hospice along with home healthcare. Compassion, patience along with close communication with families and healthcare providers are vital to me in providing quality care. My specialties are working with clients with Alzheimer's and dementia and hospice. I am well-equipped with handling the challenges that often face these patients. It has always been a desire to help people. Making a difference in someone's life. I have learned that I am a leader, I have been lead caregiver for several of my patients in charge of scheduling, taking care of all household needs and total patient care. I started working in nursing home when I was 16yrs old and loved it I felt needed, and felt like I was making a difference. Since then it has been a passion of mine I tried other jobs, but always went back to caregiving Later in life realizing it was my calling, it is a ministry, and I love it. I have worked in nursing home, home health agencies, and private duty.

Be a caregiver isn't a job, it's becoming a put of the family. Deeply intuitive and sentimental. I'm emotionally and sensitive and I care about family and home. I'm very loyal and empathetic, able to empathize with your pain and suffering. Am quick to help others and avoid conflicts. One of my greatest strength is persistent determination. I don't have great ambitions, cause I am happy and content to have a loving family and tranquil and harmonious home.I take good care of other and treat them as family.

I'm a great caregiver because I give them the upmost respect and treat them the way I would want to be treated if I was in their position , I will never disrespect them nor harm them. I love taking care of someone who needs help I love talking to them and listening to them or even helping become a better person.
