What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I have a big heart. I am willing to help others and care for them. Not only am I doing my job, but I create a bond with my clients, it is more than just a job. Being there to comfort them and hands-on when needed. What attracted me to being a caregiver is growing up I watched my grandfather need the help. I enjoyed being there for him to the point where he felt comfortable enough to be in the state he was in. The most exciting part of being a caregiver is creating that bond with my clients to the point where they want me to come back. It is not always about being there for just the job and them needing help , I like being open to them and more like a friend then an employee. I am proud of helping others. I know that with my ability to be there for others good things will come upon me.
I am very patient and gentle,I always adapt to new situation and condition. I am not a perfect being but I love to learn and I accept corrections . I am humble, respectful and trustworthy. I have been a caregiver for 3years now and still counting it has been interesting for me doing this job and I feel amazingly joyful helping seniors. I enjoy the fact that most seniors I have worked for have never given a bad report about me and the smile and comfort they show when I work with them.

A little about myself, I received my certified nursing assistant certification in the year 2000. In my years of experience. I have worked in the hospital setting in oncology, med surg, oorthopedic, and telemetry units. In the nursing home setting I have worked in med surg, dementia (locked and unlocked) units. As well as a facility for children with disabilities. For the last six years I have worked in a home care setting. My first Home Care client was an older gentleman on dialysis. I stayed with him less than a year, because he decided to stop dialysis and let nature take its course. He then became a hospice client. I stayed with him until the end of his life. And attended his viewing to pay my respects. I can provide his wife and daughters number for references. After he passed away I was hired for my recent lady Miss Maxine (God Rest her soul).A little about her, she was a diabetic female with advanced stage macular degeneration, early-stage dementia and limited Mobility. I helped manage her medication as well as her diet. Her son and I kept her insulin scale balanced. I was with her for 4 years, she passed away a few weeks ago. I can provide you with her son's contact information to get more insight on the care I give.
HI am energetic, loving, patient and happy lady aged 27,Who believes in nothing less than hundred percent commitment and achievement.i believe that my client happiness and joy is very important and I always do all it takes to ensure they are happy .my greatest fulfillment in life is being able to see someone I work with satisfied and happy.I started falling in love with being a care giver when my grand mom was sick and we wanted her to stay with us thinking that would be the best decision for her and for Us but she get worse and finally me and my sister were at home and she begged that we go to her house and she really like it there ...then I understand and saw through her how vital and important is aging at your home, your comfort zone. And how it's important to have someone who loves and understand your need as u growing up. That was when I discover that I can put a smile on someone's face and with time I realized how making my client laugh changed their life's.am ready to offer my outmost service to your mother .Anytime you need help with any one in your house hold contact me.Thank you looking forward to hearing from you
I started out by taking care of my aunt. I love the feeling of helping people. I am carding, hard working and dependable very clean and trustworthy. And I rather live in if possibly. I have been fingerprinted and I done a background check. And I have more references available upon request.
I became a caregiver in 1989 when i became a CNA and once my mother became ill in that same year. She had a stroke and could no longer do for herself. There were times when I had to give her an enema along with personal hygiene care. Prepared meals, cleaned home, took my mom shopping, out to eat occasionally. I find it rewarding to care for someone and making them happy and feel wanted. I cherish making someone feel special because they are. My personal achievement that I am most proud of was to be able to do this for my mom. What makes me proud is making someone else life worth living. I love to talk and very interested in listening to them. I've worked at windmill nursing home in South Holland, Illinois and that gave me a satisfaction, I never knew I could have in life. I am a CNA and I have also worked in the healthcare field for over 30+ years in the business aspect of billing and collection.
Being a caregiver is not easy but i love taking care of other people specialy elderly people or with disability i remember those days that i took care of my grandparents. I have been doing Caregiver work since I myself fully recovered from a massive job stroke. I've worked with Agencies, at an Assisted Living place where I was paid CNA rates based on my own life experiences. Worked as a Personal Private Caregiver through personal references. I find being a Caregiver to be a very rewarding experience.
