Being a caregiver has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing home Facilities, Private Duty, etc. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care.
Everyone I come in contact with loves to talk with me! I'm a very energetic person with lots of smiles. I provide care to others when they can't help themselves. I love what I do and have a passion for what I do. I like to make a difference in other people's life. Myself I believe the love and care you give to other person represents who you are as a person. I'm very dependable and I have no problem with working a lot of hours when needed, I'm always available. As many years as I have been a nursing assistant I have never had someone say anything negative about me. My bosses have always had great things to say about me as a person and an employee as well as my co workers too. I own my own vehicle with insurance and can do anything I am asked. I have experience in hospital, nursing Home, assisted living, and home care settings. I have experience Cath removal and insert as well as oxygen tanks tubing and all equipment. I have cared for patient with diabetes and checking sugar and reminding and administrating medication to patients. I have great references and work history if needed. I'm also FIRST AID/CPR certified and I have just finished Medical Assisting classes, will be taking the state test this year as well.
Well thank you for taking the time to look over my profile I am a kind and caring person. I love working in the nursing field and I have done so since I was younger I have a family line of nurses and CNAs and firefighters. Myself as do many of you know what it is like to have a loved one that has Alzheimer's or dementia or other elder needs. In 1999 my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia it was a very rough road to cross. After seeing the things that my mother has went through and has accomplished and overcome it makes me want to continue to work in the nursing field. Someone once asked me why I chose the nursing field and all I can tell you is it is the simple things in life that can make a dramatic difference in someone's life. I love knowing that with my help and others and family members also I am able to help them stay at home. I love knowing that what I can do can change someone's life whether it be from something simple as tieing their shoe or just helping them brush their hair or complete simple daily tasks....
I'm an honest, empathetic, trustworthy person. I love to help make people feel better. Smiling and laughter are two of my favorite things. I'm patient and kind. I developed an exercise program at a nursing home. It was so rewarding to lead the group and see the progress some of the residents were able to make. A stroke victim was able to slowly increase her range of motion on the side that was practically paralyzed.
Ive been working in the health care field for about 6 years now. Whether its caring for family, family friends, and/or my residents at prior workplace. I enjoy being able to help my community in any way that I can. My prior workplace was group home for Mentally Disabled Residents. I would tend to their everyday needs. I currently work for a home health care company and care for elderly in their own homes with everyday needs. About Me: Im a smart, outgoing person. 24years old, I have my own transportation, I Love people, and children. I usually go above and beyond to help just about anyone. I'm a full-time mom of 1 child. My son is 4years old. I'm currently enrolled in college to get my CNA license. I do currently have my DSP certification. Im a hard worker, and dedicated to my job, son, responsible, and family oriented.
I became a caregiver be cause my mother had a stroke and the family did not want to place her in a skilled facility. I like being a caregiver because I enjoy helping others who can't help there self. My achievement I had made was going to Illinois Central College and be coming certified. I live in El Paso and am buying a home. I have 3 younger children in the home with me and 2 adults. We are all very happy and I am thankful to have them in my life.
Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a sophomore in college. I am outspoken, and can hold a conversation with anyone. I love being around people and helping them. Compassion is one of the best qualities I have. I serve everyone with the same compassion. I wanted to be a caregiver because selfishly its a step towards my career in nursing, but also I would want someone to take care of me the way I take care of my patients and residents. Family is my world and if I can step into a family and take a little burden off of them so they can continue to progress in their day to day activities I'm overjoyed to provide that service. The thing I enjoy most is hearing stories from the past. I am attentive and really listen. I have held 2 health care positions at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. I'm proud of my accomplishments in the hospital setting, however, I feel like its time for a change of pace.
What makes me a great care giver is my extraordinary empathy and compassion for the disabled. I took care of my grandmother during the last 4 years of her life and I am very knowledgeable about disabilities and elder care. I will be attending college in the fall for a Certified Medical Assistant program. By showing both empathy and compassion, I will let the person I am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what I can to help them. To me, patience is key in being a successful caregiver.
