Hi, my names kristen, most call me kris. I think I'm a great caregiver because I love to take care of people who need it the most, whether they just need supervision or need someone to talk to them, outside of family, or someone who needs to depend on me. I have done home health for 3 years, now working in a nursing home as a CNA for over a year. I wouldn't trade it for the world, I love my patient's/resident's.
I am a licensed CNA, and am on the National Nursing Registry. I have had my CNA for over 3 years and have 10 years of working with the elderly. I am CPR certified. I enjoy being a caregiver and making a difference in the lives of those I care for. I come from a long line of care givers. My grandmother, and aunt are retired nurses and my mother has been a care giver for many years. I am currently working towards getting my LPN and will eventually work towards my RN. I am a mom of a very active 10 year old. I have worked in 2 skilled nursing facilities and I have been providing in home care for 4 years now to a dementia patient. I have also worked for a hospice patient.
I am a newly Registered Nurse who has solid communication skills for a variety of patients. I am extremely flexible, express empathy, compassion and attention to detail in many different situations. I have four years of CNA experience, CPR certified and PEARS certified (pediatric life support). Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a sophomore in college. I am outspoken, and can hold a conversation with anyone. I love being around people and helping them. Compassion is one of the best qualities I have. I serve everyone with the same compassion. I wanted to be a caregiver because selfishly its a step towards my career in nursing, but also I would want someone to take care of me the way I take care of my patients and residents. Family is my world and if I can step into a family and take a little burden off of them so they can continue to progress in their day to day activities I'm overjoyed to provide that service. The thing I enjoy most is hearing stories from the past. I am attentive and really listen. I have held 2 health care positions at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. I'm proud of my accomplishments in the hospital setting, however, I feel like its time for a change of pace.
I became a caregiver be cause my mother had a stroke and the family did not want to place her in a skilled facility. I like being a caregiver because I enjoy helping others who can't help there self. My achievement I had made was going to Illinois Central College and be coming certified. I live in El Paso and am buying a home. I have 3 younger children in the home with me and 2 adults. We are all very happy and I am thankful to have them in my life.
Hello, my name is Haley Green I am 25 years young. I have been a certified CNA since 2009. I started working with geriatrics when I was 15 working as an activity aide. I enjoyed it so much and wanted to be able to do more for the residents that I ended up taking college classes my junior year of high school. The redbirds won the state while we were cheering our first year ever. I am a very upbeat outgoing person who believes that it is the patients choice and decisions. I do not force anything although I will highly encourage. I have a lot of patients and take my time. I enjoy seeing people smile and enjoy life and if I can help out at all by at least helping them have a few good days, well then it seems my job is being done correctly. I enjoy getting to know my patients the most and hearing about their lives and what they have went through. It is a very difficult job at times, however, I hold close to my heart all the people that I have lost. I am a proud CNA and would love to help your loved ones stay in the comfort of their own home.
