Caring for a woman with Alzheimer's disease from the beginning going through every stage and adapting to her every need is my biggest achievement. I am very proud of! What makes me a great caregiver I will say that I really care about people I tried to listen to what their needs and wants are and try to provide them with the best of my ability. I'm a caring loving person I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated, I became a caregiver when I was 13 years old taking care of my grandmother and her friends that was Eastern star members. I would go to their homes and prepare their food and take out the garbage and clean their homes in the summertime I found a lot of joy in helping them. The most thing that I enjoy about being caregiver is being there for someone that really needs me, listening to their stories, providing the care that they need. It gave me great joy to know that I am need it and want it. My personal achievement is to start my own group homes for the homeless, for the children, and for the seniors, and for the mentally ill. I want to see if community their work together stays together I think everyone needs each other to make this world a better place to live .

Summer Update [?]: I am free and available for the entire summer until day after Labor Day, in which afterwards, I go back to my schedule below. After Labor Day Availability: I am available late evenings, overnight til 4am w/sleep, & some weekends can be negotiated. What makes me a great caregiver is my patience and ability to take the lead to discern when a situation needs action or not. I have had many clients whose demands were very different but I adjusted right away bc I do understand the need for each person to have dignity and still feel as though they have a level of independence. I have serviced those as young as 38 with terminal cancer to those who were a mature age of 88 with heart, mobility, and respiratory issues, dementia, Alzheimer's, and bed-ritten, so I am well-rounded. I am a mother of 2 boys now young men and I am married but I have still devoted countless hours for my clients, even living in with them 24/7 and working 12 to 24 hour days, 7 days a week. I do not mind at all. I am gracious and love people too much. I will be a promising catch.

I became a Nursing Assistant when my grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer it was hard on my grandmother, but once I stepped in with bathing, helping with light housekeeping around the house or just letting my grandmother get out for an hour or two her load was lightened it was a blessing. I felt giving back to my grandfather for all the love and support he has given me all the years was truly from the heart, he later passed away within three months then my grandmother was diagnosed with Cancer and I stepped in for her with just myself and my little children and again it was a blessing but challenging at same time but God gave me strength through my trail and made me strong. If i can give that to everyone I come in contact with am complete because it's from the heart helping someone with a bath, dressing them for the day, of just having a conversation means a lot to so many.. I love what I do and can give another individual
My 13 years experience in caring and assisting people who can't do for themselves. My characters (trustworthy, reliable, responsible, accountable, caring) shows me with so much compassion for the people I serve makes me a great Caregiver/Personal Assistant/CNA. I became a CNA/Caregiver/Personal Assistant because I enjoy taking care of people who have lost their ability to handle their basic needs. I like being a CNA/Cargiver/Personal Assistant cause I take comfort in knowing that I make people comfortable as possible, put a smile on their face, and help improve the quality of life for them during what can be a trying time in their life. One personal achievement I am proud of is being the main role, for 6 years, in helping a man regains a positive outlook on/for his life after suffering a Stroke that left him with paralized on his right side, wheel chair bound, and told that he would never walk again. I committed myself to be his leaning tower(Personal Assistant/Caregiver). After 5 years of going to Physical and Occupational therapies 3 times a week with him, learning the exercises, then assisting him with these exercises in his home.he is no longer wheel chair bound, he walks 2 miles a day , he drive his vehicle, he's continues exercising in a gym, and he's no longer depress about his ability but encourage others living with a disability.
