I have always wanted to major in the medical field, I started working towards my degree in nursing, and I got a job as a CNA. Working with the elderly has been great, it has given me more Patience than I already had. being able to care for someone that can be my grandmother or any family member brings great satisfaction. of course my 87 year old grandmother with early obset Alzheiner's, still lives at home. it is my heart pleasure to see the elderly be safe and happy in their own home with proper care.

I applied to this position to particularly care for the elderly, although I am willing to care for anyone, should we be a good fit. I've worked with Downs syndrome, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia, and other illnesses, as well as with the elderly. You might ask what I think makes me a good care provider. Well, I have always found that hard to put into words, but maybe one way to describe it is that I have always felt like I have a lot to give. I am very caring about people, and cannot stand to see a person suffering, in pain, or without companionship. I love companionship, can talk to anyone about anything under the sun, and can do everything from toileting to cooking from-scratch, home-cooked meals. A student of nutrition, I particularly find it of interest to study what foods, if any, may particularly benefit an illness, and what nutrients an individual will need. I aim to provide top quality, holistic care.
