What makes me a great caregiver, is the love and passion I have to be one to care for another. I enjoy doing it, im not in it for the paycheck, I do it because it makes me feel good knowing I can help someone. I always grew up wanting to help others in one way or another.. I enjoy the smiles I can give someone simply by being there to assist them, knowing someone enjoys my care makes my heart swell. My biggest personal achievement I am proud of, is, my son.

I absolutely love what I do, I enjoy working with people as I am very outgoing, I enjoyed taking care of my grandma when I was 18 which is what made me pursue my passion in this field. I treat all my clients as I would want my own family to be treated, I'm very reliable and honest!

I have a passion for connecting with people at all stages in life. I have worked as a nanny, and now I am working as a yoga teacher for all ages and mobility levels. Helping and teaching is so rewarding to me. I love developing relationships with those that I take care of, and getting to watch them thrive and succeed. I value finding humor and joy so I will always try and make people laugh and smile. I value organization as much as I do connection so I will always be on time and with a plan for the day. I have been working doing care giving since i was 12 when my aunt had a hernia removed and the nurses that came in started showing me how to change the dressings and change her iv tubing. I have worked in health care most of my life. I took care of my mom and grandparents. I was trained at UofM wound care clinic for my mom. I also went to school for medical assistant. I experience taking care of wounds, autistic, dementia,Alzheimer's, people with hearing and vision and who are bed bound. Ive worked with people on hospice. I love helping others and taking care of them and helping them living there best life. I love listening to the stores people tell me. Especially the elderly the stories they tell sometimes have great lessons behind them. I still talk to some of my cleints i took care of they message me or if i see them out at the store they come up and give me hugs and tell me how much they love and miss me which makes me feel good and that i could be a positive person in their lives. I have had cleints that had noone else and who i made a differnece in their lives when they thought no one cared about them. One of my personal achievements is i dropped out of high school to take care of my mom so after she passed i was in my 20s i went back to school got my GED and went to college.

I feel that my personality traits that help me be a great caregiver would have to be how understanding I am to my clients, being open, I love helping others out and going above and beyond. What attracted me to be a caregiver was when I was younger my parents were always caregivers, so me being around it so much and seeing how much others (not my parents) would mistreat them .. I know that I could never do that and that I could make a positive change in not only the clients life but in the company. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to know my clients, spending time with them and making sure they have everything they need. A personal achievement I am proud of is that no one can say I have made a negative Influence on them. Everyone will say how positive I am, how i'm quick at problem solving.

I have been a caregiver for 16 years now. I absolutely love what I do, and being able to help my clients. I'm very compassionate and loving with my clients, usually building deep bonds with them. I treat my clients as if they're family! Because, honestly after a while of taking care of them they become family. It warms my heart knowing my clients get excited to see me and look forward to it. This is my life long career I wouldn't want to be doing anything else!

I have worked as a CNA for 5 years, i went to career center at 16, got my CNA license & phlebotmy license. i am in nursing school and graduate as a RN nurse may 1st. I want to be a NP, so my goal is doctorate. I love elderly & assisting people who cannot assist themselves. I enjoy helping people and being their support system when they need it the most.
