I became a caregiver about 6 years ago. As a child I took care of my grandmother when she was sick and had surgery and I really enjoyed it. When I got in my teen years my mother had to have a major operation and ended up with a nasty infection, so I got to clean and change bandages and give her medications via IV and this has been my passion ever since. I love working with people to help them with daily needs that they can no longer do on their on. I also enjoy spending time and getting to know the people I work with. I am proud to say I have been to school and gotten my CNA I certificate and am currently enrolled in school to get my Associates degree of Applied Science in Medical Assisting. I am working to get my RN and hopefully will not stop until I have my Mastered degree. I am a single mother of 5 wonderful and smart little boys and have worked hard to be a wonderful mom, wonderful caregiver, and hard working student. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a patient, gentle and caring caregiver who is reliable and dedicated to giving the best possible care to my clients and their families. Helping other's has always been a passion of mine but I knew I wanted to be a caregiver after losing my Grandfather to stage 4 lung cancer. Unfortunately for my family the caregivers assigned to my grandfather's care (via his insurance) were unpleasant and far from professional. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone who is compassionate, professional and trustworthy; I take pride in being that person. The most rewarding part of my job as a caregiver is being an alternative to traditional institutionalized care allowing clients to remain safely in the comfort of their own homes. My services are designed to meet the individual needs of each client while offering the families peace of mind and respite. If your looking for someone who is loving, trustworthy and reliable then look no further!!!
